She had connections. She had always had connections because she liked it that way, and when she wanted something a certain way, she made it happen.

Matthew Wolfe was perfect for her plans. When she first caught sight of him her sophomore year of high school, a cute freshman boy with those bright blue eyes, she knew she had to have him.

So, she made it happen.

They dated on and off until she graduated, and even after that, they hooked up now and then. Throughout high school she built a reputation and a social circle solely around what she did best: manipulation. She like being in control, and learned early on how to prey on people's desires. It was just how she worked, and it worked.

She was the one that gradually corrupted that blue-eyed teenager named Matthew. His carefree, pleasure-driven lifestyle wasn't entirely her fault, but it was her who convinced him to push away some of his most valuable friends, under the excuse that they "held him back."

She majored in business management, particularly in the field of music and recording, hoping to further her web of influence by meeting famous musicians and producers. Of course, she was also aware that her part-time boyfriend Matthew, who had developed into a popular, charming person indeed (just as she wanted) would most likely be taking his band and turning professional, and who better to be their manager than her?

She loves having Matthew close by to mess around with, but she doesn't love him. That would put such a burden on her plans. He doesn't know that, but she doubts that he even cares; he's usually off with other women anyway. As long as she still has control over him when she needs to, she couldn't care less. It's a mutually beneficial relationship with none of the bothersome commitments. Just how she likes it.

Well, that's what she tells herself, anyway.
