Crisantis slept quietly in the cool grass, enjoying his afternoon nap as usual. His owner rested beside him, listening to the small sounds of their backyard as he read "Alice in Wonderland". After a few moments, Crisantis was awoken by a strange thumb thumb sound, which also awoke his curiosity. Three, perhaps four, meters away a white rabbit ran along the fence, digging holes here and there, clearly in a rush as he kept checking a pocket watch. The funniest of all wasn't the watch, but the blue vest he wore while he mumbled "I'm late, I'm late, I'm late, I'm late, I'm late!" Crisantis rose slowly, ears down as he crawled forward silently, ready to attack. The rabbit twirled around and his eyes almost fell of its sockets as he saw the jollin and squealed a horrible sound that made Crisantis jump back in shock. "Waaahh--!!"The rabbit climbed the fence and the jollin quickly chased after it. He ran and ran as they crossed the street to the public park, bypassing several pets who barked and sniffed at the rabbit as well. But the white animal was as quick as a bullet and dived under the root of a thick tree. Crisantis searched for his smell and wasted no time as he picked it up again. The rabbit was there!What he did not expect was to fall through a hole, an enormous hole that dived right into the ground. He whimpered and howled for help, but as he kept falling he saw no end and no help as well, only weird flying furniture, and a piano just like the one his owner had in the living room. As he twisted around, he saw the end come near in a tartan floor that made him cry just thinking about the pain it would cause. But he did not hit the floor, it gave in and he fell again, confused and dizzy. As he blinked, he noticed he was in an oval room with the highest ceiling he had ever seen and four doors next to it. As he took a step he fell to the ceiling, which turned out to be the floor. Now he was really confused. Warily, he walked slowly towards the doors, scratching each one as he tried to open them. No luck, all locked. As he checked the room again, he noticed a small antique table with this little clear bottle on top and a key. "That had not been there before", he thought. He grabbed the key and tried it on every single door. No luck again, the key was too small. Then he reached for the bottle with his mouth. It fell carelessly to the floor but it did not crack as he expected it would. He noticed it had a little note: "Drink me." His teeth pulled the cork and he sniffed the contents. It smelled and looked like water. He pushed the bottle with his nose and as it spilled the contents on the floor he licked it all up. Rather salty for his taste. His skin started to itch. The room grew exponentially, and he watched in awe and shock. But it had not been the room that had grown, it had been Cristantis who shrank. The room seemed massive now but he was able to notice more details, such as a really small red mysterious curtain between two of the doors. He pulled the curtain and it ripped apart to reveal a small wooden door. It was just his size. He grabbed the forgotten key with his teeth and struggled to try it on the door. It gave a soft click and opened slowly. Sounds of the richest nature, perfumes of singing flowers and grass more vibrant than he had ever seen, greeted him in an unspoken hello. The rabbit, still white and mumbling, sat beside a girl of golden curls and blue dress, a man with a hat that would make a queen jealous, and two other talking animals. They were all drinking tea and commemorating their "unbirthday". He approached carefully and there he met Alice. He was so surprised with this world and all its luscious colors. But there was still one thing he missed, no matter what. His owner. So, by the end of the day, the ingenious girl Alice took him home, after describing the most amazing stories about Wonderland, queens, a cat that could smile, and why a raven was like a writing desk.
