Daekami:
Wondering god-like being(s) who search out "dead" worlds and determine whether they are eligible for starting a civilization or in some rare cases, resurrecting an old one. There are two types; Elemental and Primal. They travel in small groups and each contribute to creating inanimate and sentient structures throughout the chosen planet by sacrificing their physical bodies. Once the process is finished the Daekami tether their souls to a willing Morphos(Intelligent beings created specifically to withstand hosting a powerful spirit) and laps into a deep slumber until either the host dies or the planet is destroyed entirely. Occasionally they have been known to stir and communicate with their host. If a Daekami were to become lost the natural balance would be thrown into utter chaos.
Though extremely uncommon they have been known to pair off and produce a single offspring(or in even unlikelier cases twins/triplets) to which would be born with a mortal(almost immortal) body that could take up to 80 millenniums before it would mature enough to follow in their parents footsteps and settle their own world with other Daekami.

Morphos:
Also known as Sacred Beasts, they were made in the likeness of the Daekami. There are five morphos to every Daekami, each created using a small fragment of the spirit's own soul in order to make the morphos a possible host. Only one is chosen to contain the soul and reaps the benefits of bearing a substantial amount of power in exchange, these are called a "Warden". When a warden dies another morphos will take its place. When a morphos dies it's fragment is recycled by attaching itself to a random unborn lifeform.
The same host may not be aware until it hits maturity and undergoes its first transformation into the sacred beast form. Some immature hosts live normal lives until then, while others may be stronger and/or have heightened senses then what is normal for the species they are contained in. A immature host may not host a Daekami soul until it has reached maturity. The very first created morphos, since the body was created by a daekami, have almost limitless amounts of shapes they can take, while

Brennus: "Miku... What language is this in? Can you read it to me?"
-Miku begins to speak in gibberish before Brennus laughs and covers her mouth gently-
Brennus: "No... in Elemental. Could you translate for me, love?"
-She looks back down at the ancient and battered journal, her most prized and only worldly possession.-

-Day 68 of Summer, 46th year-
Today, Sirnat broke the news, though not as coldly as Waruul would, that I was not to have the privilege of being a warden. I feel... Broken, useless, and in the very least, shamed.
He said instead that I should "become a scholar", perhaps, chronicle the history of our world as it settles, and that mother would be proud no matter what I did...
Proud? To be born a mortal god can't be just an insult for me. If not for being all powerful, fate would have taken me time and time again from them, why did they bother. Why did she? Mother-

-The writing starts to fade on the page as though moisture carried the words away.-

-Day 70 of Summer, 46th year-
Fate be damned, I will NOT sit by and deteriorate like an old, tattered piece of cloth. I don't care if I die trying, at least I could say I took control! I hear Sirnat tell Demoros, "You can only grow stronger if you continue to train your body.", and although I can't go far today, there's no reason I can't go farther tomorrow. Perhaps this journal will come in good use after all.

-Miku begins to read how many times he did each activity and for how long that day before Brennus sighs and waves his hand as a signal he grows bored. Instead she skips a several pages.-

-Day 86 of Winter, 46th year-
It's been quiet for a few hours still, I figured now as good a time as any to recount todays events.
Waruul followed me today and watched as I trained continuously for hours before I passed out, like I always do, then carried me home. Sirnat of course gave me the "concerned for my health" like a worried father speech... Waruul and Demoros stood there with their usual smirks. Did they honestly think I would sleep like an infant in my room all day, forever? It's almost like he tells me I can't do something just to push me more, and surely he realizes it does so by now? When he realized I wasn't listening anymore he wished me a good night then retired to his room with a slam. I don't know how long I stood there, only that I snapped out of whatever stupor I was in by the sound of Waruul's mail-gloved hand smacking Demoros in the back of his head for snickering.
I was so worn out Waruul had to carry me to my room. Before I could quietly drift off he leaned over and asked me if I knew what I was doing, to which I told him I didn't, but, I wasn't afraid to die if that's what he was intending to ask next. I'll always remember the look on his face, mainly because I've never seen him use it before. Was it surprise and... pride, in me?

-Before she can read the following day's passage, Brennus interrupts and asks her to skip a few years to see if he gets anywhere. Miku smiles, and since she has read the book numerous times jumps straight to a turning point-

-Day 29 of Fall, 153rd year-
It's taken me several days, but I have reread everything current within this book.
I recall the day Sirnat gave me this treasure. He explained no matter how much I wrote, no matter how many pages I filled, it would never truly run out of space. They were the same 100 pages, but not always the same writing, not always filled or empty. I have but to remember which day I wish to read and they just appear as though they were always there. Or, I could make them disappear as though it there was never anything, so my secrets stay as such.
-Brennus cocks his head back and starts to ask a question but shakes it off. "Continue."-
I only wish I had time to write yesterday's entry. I'm still shocked over the events, and shocked still that I would be reconsidered for taking up the responsibility of a warden. For taking responsibility of Mother. I would give anything to speak with her... being her warden is the only way. Demoros woke up early this morning, he currently wont speak to any of us. I'm curious as to how he sees it as anyone's but his own fault... Sirnat is the only one who doesn't whisper his name when speaking about him, but even he wouldn't consider ever challenging Waruul.
Regardless, given my past stubbornness when it comes to following rules, I have already received my fair share of warnings and stern speeches. On the morrow, I begin my first hard day's training.
