I grew up in a small village, near the Soma forest, called Sonne. Both my parents had been farmers and I had been raised to follow in their footsteps. It was a simple life, the same routine day after day, sowing the seeds in spring and collecting the harvest when they were fully grown. When I was 16, my parents moved to the city of Chedo. I had opted to stay in the village, I feared that I would not be suited for city life. The years passed slowly as I grew up and turned into a fully grown woman.
As it sometimes does, life can take an unexcepted twist. It did for me that day, when I was gathering apples in Soma forest. I happened to stumble upon a man, knocked out, in the clearing. He was unlike anyone I had ever seen, white pure white hair and odd purple clothes. I decided that I could not just leave him there and so I picked him up by the feet and quite literally dragged him back to the village. (I bet he got a few bumps on the head for that!)
The worst day came when they arrived in the village, banging on my door. I tried to hold the door shut as they rammed it and I shouted at him to leave through the hole in the oven. He hesitated for a moment, then gave a slight nod as he crawled though. I had hoped to escape through the oven as well, but at that moment they burst through my door and sent me flying. A solider stormed over to be and demanded where he was. I simply stared at him and refused to reply. They dragged me outside and placed me under arrest. I... don't remember much after that. I heard something about a hex cannon and I was taken to Chedo. Tortured in a room, all I could think about was him. I wanted to know if he were safe, then white pain tore through my body and my world went black.

The next thing I knew, I awoke in the ruins of what could only be Chedo. Something didn't feel right though. Everything... had fallen apart. No castle, no standing buildings, no people. Nothing. I did not know how long had passed, nor how long I had been asleep (for that it was it had felt like to me, a long sleep). I happened to glance up and I caught sight of myself in a broken mirror on the exposed wall of a house. They had clearly done something to me as I was asleep, as I had taken on a new form of a cream and brown dog. I stumbled to my feet and picked my way through the debris of Chedo, leaving the city. I has made my way to Soma forest, but my the time I had got there, I was exhausted. I picked a spot in the shade of a tree and fell asleep once more, mumbling as I slept.
"Ye be... okay...?"
