Kenny is not exactly Mr. Fashion. If it were up to him he'd go around in t-shirts and jeans all the time, and when he's not at work that's pretty much how he walks around. His t-shirts really don't have a theme either. He buys what fits and isn't particularly picky. He's fond of graphic t-shirts and they will get some preference over plain shirts. Jeans are just simple blue jeans of varying shades, and occasionally some muted and faded color. Kenny never throws anything out unless it's truly necessary. A lot of his older jeans have patches, and it's not uncommon to see stitches on some of his shirts. This, however, is only for his casual clothes. His work attire is actually rather well taken care of. He has a few dress pants and a collection of button down suits and even more ties (none with obnoxious patterns though. He doesn't like it if "my tie looks like someone vomited rainbows on it or let their child draw on it"). Still, once he's out of work it's right back to t-shirts and jeans. He does like a nice jacket though and sometimes he's a bit partial to sweaters. Still, Kenny will pretty much wear anything and have no real qualms about it. All in all his style is relaxed an flexible and doesn't take itself too seriously.

Also, he's comfortable with nudity. His own and other people's. Sometimes if he's not going anywhere he just hangs around his home in his birthday suit.

In many ways Kenneth is the typical loner. He avoids social contact in practically all aspects of his life, and his social skills at best could be described as "rusty". He's not miserable or overtly emotional though. Quite the opposite to be honest. He seems to got through life with an air of aloofness, and some would even say indifference. He's perfectly content to stew in his own thoughts, sit alone for hours with a book, or sit for an equal amount of hours designing webs sites, eyes scanning and interpreting seemingly infinite lines of code. Kenny is very much caught up in his own head, and he can be prone to over analyzing. Still, Kenny doesn't hate others. He just dislikes all the little societal rules that come along with interaction between more than one individual.

When he is forced to interact (key word here being forced), Kenneth tends to clam up, going into an odd sort of lock down as he assesses you. When he does speak it is usually to the point and often times hard to hear. Even when he's comfortable and in his element, Kenneth's voice is very rarely raised, and some could even say that his normal speaking voice is "whisper-y". What he says can be rather strange as well. Kenneth has a very weak filter for his words, and he's blunt without remorse. If he thinks your idea is bad, he'll tell you. If he thinks what you said is stupid he won't hesitate to call you out. It has nothing to do with wanting to be rude. He just enjoys being truthful because it prevents getting caught up in a mess of lies and half-truths.

Despite his general aversion to large groups of people, one of his favorite hobbies involves people. Kenneth loves to watch people. Observe their quirks, speech patterns, how they react to different situations and different people. There's very little that goes on that that Kenny doesn't know about, and if he doesn't know about it he's pretty much guaranteed to know about it shortly.

Among friends (all 3 of them...), Kenny is actually highly affectionate and less reserved, though not much. Kenny's just a quiet thing. With friends he will joke, albeit dryly, and be much less prone to freezing up. He very rarely approaches people himself, so making friends is not the easiest thing for this sneak, but that shouldn't really come as a big surprise. Still, if he comes out of his shell enough to agree to the terms of being one's friend Kenny is a bit clingy. Friends are carefully selected, and since he's rather secluded otherwise he unconsciously tries to make up for that. Acknowledging that he does this is a whole other matter. He doesn't. Plain and simple.

Friends are enough of a hassle, so romantic relationships are even worse. Kenny wouldn't know if he was attracted to someone if the emotion was tied to a brick and chucked at his head. Or rather he'd know, but he would be likely to just ignore it. Also, if someone were to try and pursue him, some people are under the false impression that he's romantically dark and brooding (he's not. He's just shy and fairly independent), Kenny would probably bug out and not understand what it is they see in him. It's not that he thinks he's a terrible person. In fact, he's quite happy with who he is. He's just aware enough to know that his personality traits aren't what society generally covets as attractive. If he were in a relationship though he would be cautious and unsure as if anything he does could be a serious offense and end the affair on the beginning. Still, he can affectionate and even playful at times when given the chance to become completely comfortable with someone. Willing to whisper sweet nothings and be comforting. One has to be extremely special to him for him to act like this though since it goes against his normal habits around people.

Over all, Kenneth is intelligent, creative, leans toward being asocial, blunt, inquisitive, and extremely quiet. He knows what he likes, and he knows how he likes things to be done. He's not for everyone, but he's certainly not actively trying to be a pain. He's a nice guy, but he's got an odd assortment of quirks.

History:

Kenny's history is nothing to write home about. There was not great tragedy in his life that formed his entire existence. There was no special circumstances. He's the first born of four, born to two rat shifters, and he lead a fairly standard childhood. He's a Spear City native, and has only been outside the city limits on rare occasions. The times he can remember he can count on one hand. His parents were part of the slave trade, but Kenneth and his siblings were lucky enough to not be a part of the system themselves though this situation itself has given Kenny a bad taste in his mouth when the slave trade is mentioned.

As a kid, Kenny was teased, but not in excess, and even on his worst days he was able to seem unaffected by it. The shifter just figured it couldn't be any different than what other shifter children must go through. He's always been hardy both emotionally and physically. He's a survivor just like the rest of his family and the animal that resides within him.

There was one incident where it got out of hand though. When he was 14 he was walking home from school when a group of kids came up and started badgering him about being a shifter, about his parents being part of the shifter slave-trade system, etc. They called him nasty names, but still, Kenny could take that. It wasn't always this bad, but he figured it would pass and he would just get home and say nothing about the incident. However, the kids didn't let up and they actually took his backpack and tossed it back and forth amongst themselves, telling Kenny to shift into his animal form and they'd give it back, but Kenny knew better. They weren't giving him his bag back. When he started walking away one of the kids jumped on him and he landed hard, scraping up his face and arms. The other kids took this as a cue and started beating on him. Luckily for Kenny the parent of some other kid drove up and shooed all the kids away and took Kenny to the doctor. He was mostly bruised up and scratched up from the pavement, but he had a cracked rib and a black eye, which was the worst of it. He didn't explain the incident fully to anyone himself, and even went to school the next day. He didn't complain. He didn't make a fuss. He just went about his business as he always did. It bugged a lot of kids since most of them knew about the incident. No one really messed with Kenny much after that. There was the occasional teasing, but never more than a few words.

Kenny graduated in the top percentile of his class in high school, but college was not something he wanted to pursue. It was too much like some kind of social experiment, and it didn't sit well with him. Besides, he was confident enough in his own intelligence to believe he could still get a job without a higher education. He managed to obtain a job working as a data entry clerk for a pharmaceutical company where he spends the majority of his day in his cubicle typing, and typing, and typing...social interaction at a minimum, which suits him just fine. His other job is web-designing which he learned on his own. When not working, Kenny spends a lot of his time at home or in the Inner City Garden (or pretty much anywhere he can enjoy a sandwich and watch people).

It's a rather plain existence, but Kenneth doesn't mind it. He's considering applying to Ryder, but he's still on the fence about going to college.

Telekinesis-If used in excess he feels light-headed and dizzy and tired, even more so if the object is larger. Lifting a pencil won't wear him out, but if he tried to lift a truck he'd be nauseous and worn out.
Light Step-Pain in his feet and hands. It doesn't always happen, but when it does it is a sharp shooting pain that won't go away for at least an hour after he's used Light Step.
Confusion-Pain in his neck to upper back. This always happens when he uses confusion so he only uses it if he really needs to and that's pretty much never.
