"Why, yes, I do remember very well the afternoons I've spent at my grandma's house when I was a child. If something from these times struck me? Well, there was this story my uncle told me when I was five, at the little office where grandma had her personal library. I remember every single word, even nowadays that I have so much to think on, and it sounded like this:

Long ago, even before your great-grandmother be born, a good gentleman was the owner of this house. He was a doctor, a psychiatrist, and although young, he was already acclaimed in his area, but one thing he lacked, and it was fun.
With so many patients, he could never leave his office -THIS office - and all he could do to ease his naturally playful spirit, that was always hidden behind a professional face, was to spin around in his rolling chair in-between sections and wonder about life.
Too bad he didn't knew (how could he knew that?) that his chair was alive, and it was evil. One day, it got tired of all the spinning, and threw him against a wall with so much strength that the next patient had to call the fire department to take the body of the poor deceased doctor out of the wall.
When they finished to unstick him, they could see that his eyes had sunken back on his skull and there was a still a dreamlike smile upon his lips.

"I know, I know. Probably this tale has struck me because of the absurd of it all, and it's more than obvious that my uncle just wanted me to stop playing with the weird office's rolling chair, and tried so by scaring me. I don't think it worked very well, though, because not only I kept playing with the chair, I also adopted the "doctor's ghost" as my imaginary friend when there was no one to play with me at grandma's house. He was probably the weirdest and scariest imaginary friend a five years old kid could have, and yet I loved him, because we played thousands of games and he never got tired.
I remember I called him Olavo, because it was quite a common name and easy to say, and it also made the adults confused, since no one at the house had such name.
But now, these times are gone, as well as grandma is gone. Dad sold the house, and ironically it's a psychiatric clinic now. I see it everyday in my way to work, and it brings me oh so much nostalgia."

"And you don't know how much I miss you, my dear lady."
