From the icy hills of Sweden comes - Torsten! Sweden is actually warm half the year, so Torsten is a traveller. He likes to go further up north for the winter and enjoy the Arctic regions. Torsten likes snow, cold, ice, the color blue (preferably of a light hue, just like the sky when it's very cold out). For food, he enjoys ice cream, ice tea, and just plain ice. Yeah, he doesn't have a very exciting taste, but he could tell you a tale or two about those polar bears and their antics.

Because of his travels, Torsten is constantly growing and maturing. Sometimes he also changes species. So far, he's been a malticorn, a dragarth and at the moment is a lovely baby blue hikei. The icy blue color is the only thing he insists on. Other than that, "change is good" like he says. "I'm not a Hikei, or a Malticorn, or anything - I'm just Torsten."This, however, confuses the racist Baibalos beyond measure. He keeps saying Torsten is "really a malticorn" and is "lying to himself. But maybe that's because Baibalos keeps getting zapped against his own will and still feels like a Bovyne.

As a friend, Torsten has a cold crispy outside with a warm fuzzy inside. However, he only likes to be around other go-getter creatures who like to do things instead of talking or reading. (He does, however, listen to story books on tape sometimes while traveling.) That's why he hasn't bonded too well with Wemberly, and feels more at home with his minion than anyone else. They go on wild adventures together, riding across the tundra, and are seldom home. Their snacks are whatever they can find. Torsten isn't picky (although he does prefer it cold).
