Hi! My name is Akiala. I love being a part of nature, so I spend most of my time here in Peka Glade. I've found wonderful friendships with the creatures that make their homes here.

I play in the glade so much, rolling in the soft grass and splashing in the refreshing water, that some of the beautiful flowers and plants have become a part of my body and fur. Creatures feel right at home climbing or sleeping on me, and I'm always surrounded by the most beautiful butterflies.

The smallest animals often come to me for protection, help, and advice. I know what it's like to be so tiny, since we Wyllops aren't very big ourselves. I need to spend a lot of time training and eating the best foods so I can be there for them.

I especially love to take care of babies while their parents are away. Some birds, like my friend Cymbaline, even make their nests in my leafy tail, where I can take good care of their eggs until they're ready to hatch.

My best friend is a dog named Allie. She gets confused and overwhelmed sometimes, and she is easily scared, but I've helped her learn a lot and be more brave.

One of my dearest companions is a fellow Wyllop, named Akilea. She was raised in a laboratory and never knew her own family. No one ever gave her a name, either. So once we met and became friends, she decided to choose a name like mine, since we think of each other as siblings now. It's a Wyllop tradition to give siblings similar names!

I also love books, and I work at the Library, where I can find the best stories to read to my friends here. I've helped a lot of children learn how to read, and I'm so proud of their skills!

Wemberly is an Ontra friend of mine who loves writing, so we get along very well! I was so happy when she decided to become Glade and be a part of nature like me.

Another Wyllop friend of mine, Quincy, is awesome too. He's so colourful and fun to be around, and he's taught me a lot of the things I know about the world! He likes reading as well, and he's read even more books than I have.
