Where are you now, what are you doing?

Cry grew up in poverty, something she has come to accept as a normal life. Any sort of bond or support from her parents was near nonexistent. Neither of her parents were fit to raise a child, nevermind two children. Instead, the twins were raised by their grandparents, who took them in at a young age. Although they provided the bare basics for care, they put forth all of their effort into raising the girls. A lack of funds did not stop the older couple from showing Cry and Mana what true joy and happiness could be like.

Growing up, Cry's twin sister turned out to be her best friend. The two of them were nearly inseparable, one was never too far off from the other. The young imagination of the two girls provided them all the entertainment they ever needed. Their favorite times to play together were during warm summer nights, chasing fireflies until neither of them could walk anymore.

Mana’s death left a deep scar on Cry. Favorite passtimes became painful memories, which made Cry out to appear to be someone without many hobbies. She soon sheltered herself from the outside world even more, wary of anyone approaching her. This soon spiraled into severe depression and anxiety, causing Cry to shut herself away and sleep for as long as possible.

She dreamed of happier times, of the days when she and Mana were together. As the years went on, these dreams began to feel more and more real. It was almost as if Mana were reaching out to her from another plane, trying to reunite with her twin once more.
