Marshadow
The Gloomdweller Pokemon

Marshadow (マーシャドー Marshadow) is a grey, bipedal ghost/fighting type pokemon that was introduced into the series in Pokemon Sun and Moon as number 802.

Marshadow has the ability to become a Zenith Marshadow. This happens when it is angered or attacking. When in its Zenith form its head, arms and collar flare up and change colour to light-green and yellow. This represents its fighting spirit flaring up.

Marshadow its not only a legendary pokemon, it is classified as a Mythical pokemon. This is because very few people have seen it, due to it being a very cautious pokemon that will hide in the shadows, to make sure it isnt noticed whilst being able to abserve and copy the power of others

It has 2 exclusive moves in Spectral Thief and its Z-Move Soul-Stealing 7-Star Strikes,

It is currently only obtainable via Special Events either by attending the 20th Movie, Pokemon: I Choose You in Japan or by a serial code given out by respective stores in different countries.

Anime/Movie Appearances - Warning Spoilers!

Marshadow's debut was in the 20th Pokemon Movie. Pokemon the Movie: I Choose You!
Marshadow acts as a guide to whoever holds the Rainbow Wing to take them to Ho-oh on Mt. Tensei. However they also act as a protector of the Rainbow Wing if the holder loses its colour, due to wickedness. They steal the wing away to return it back to Ho-oh. It then goes back to the shadows to guide, protect and observe.

I wont put much more because of spoilers, and its a good film with some great nostalgia if you want to watch it :)

Marshadow has made a brief appearance in the anime in the episode The Dex Can't Help It!
Where Rotom, not being inside its PokeDex body saw it but could not record it.

It lurks in the shadows of others, copying their movements and powers. This Pokémon is craven and cowering.

It slips into the shadows of others and mimics their powers and movements. As it improves, it becomes stronger than those it's imitating.

Ultra Moon
It sinks into the shadows of people and Pokémon, where it can understand their feelings and copy their capabilities.

In-Game Capabilities

Marshadow is a fantastic pokemon with a unique typing giving it 3 resistances and 2 immunites. It is a speedy power-house that can revenge kill and sweep with ease if allowed to. Its typing also gives it two power STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus) in Ghost and Fighting.

Its signature move also deters opponents from setting up with its ability to steal all stat boosts as well as damage them.

Marshadow does however have a kink in its armour so to say, with its average defences it cant take much damage back.
