mixed aesthetic - glitch, double vision, blur, white noise (in eyes and blood/drool), color distortion; graveyards, small birds, wilted flowers, memories, foggy mornings.
mix in aspects from previous character concept. character who dies every day; yes, literally every single day of her existence. in varying ways... and wakes up as someone new the following morning. every single day. she's never had a good nights rest. she becomes people who have families, friends, pets, spouses... real lives, that are ending that night. has to try to find out who she is and what her 'final mission' is meant to be; has no connection to or prior knowledge of her next transport. the soul switching process happens in the span of about three seconds. she can maintain contact with their spirit until death.
grim reaper who didn't know she got the job when she starts out, probably. she died herself and retains her consciousness - she basically takes their souls and puts herself in their body 24 hours before their death. she doesn't have a real name, because, well, she's never the same person. just call her the name of whatever human vessel she's wearing. wears a skull kigurumi because fuck it. she will have a unique human form, but 'species' is not yet decided. is the grim reaper a ghost or an undead or a demon?
at first she doesn't quite understand what is happening and spends the end of peoples lives running away, trying to save herself, trying to understand. but as she grows more accustomed to her duties, she begins to attempt to put the souls to rest. she goes through their contacts and tells everyone how loved they are, and asks if they want to go out for lunch. stays home from work to play with the kids or spend one last night with the wife/husband. comforts them (without outright telling them the body is going to die).
of course, she is sad. it's a lonely existence, and knowing the fate, the loss, is going to hurt is the worst part. seeing what these people are losing. saying goodbye is never easy. but she knows she is doing the right thing. all she ever wanted to do was help people.
dating a girl named juliette/nevermore. juliette has amnesia. so she doesn't remember what her gf is supposed to look like. they just have a 'connection' of some kind that they both can feel. she contacts her gf when she gets a new assignment. she also sometimes gets small one or two day 'vacations' where she can just be herself/spend time with gf. grim reaping is a large business and done by more than one person.
