In Their Own Words: This is Princess Tiana & Prince Naveen from Princess and the Frog

It took me FOREVER to find someone to cosplay that I really liked. First it was Lara Croft but that didn't work out. I did my first attempt at Princess Tiana and gave up. Then I wanted to do an Oompa Loompa from Charlie & the Chocolate Factory but noo, that didn't work either. And then finally back to Princess Tiana. I changed cause she's flippin' gorgeous and such a wonderful role model. (: And my favorite Disney princess. Later on I added the Gratitude of the Frog Prince cause hey, doesn't he look similar to Naveen? And I thought it was kinda cute. c:

In Their Own Words: Drawn from one of my old favorite movies, The Last Unicorn, I did this cosplay a while back and it's still one of my favorites.
For those who don't know, she was a unicorn who learned that she was the last of her kind, which led to her quest to find out what happened to the other unicorns. Along the way she is turned human for a time. This interpretation is for after she returned to her unicorn form. The runes and symbols are from the botched spell of the wizard who turned he into a human in the first place. The scraps of cloth are remnants of her humanity, for now she knew of both love and regret as no other unicorn would. The single flower is from her homeland, which always grew beautifully with her residing within it.
