Cash Shop: Riverside Meander Legendary Track

I’ve learned two things on this little excursion to Riverside. One, the locals have dubbed this particular beast “Talveg” and the area is just lousy with hole-in-the-wall shops hawking keychains, mugs, and blurry black and white photos of a long-necked water-dwelling creature. Two, every single resident has a cousin twice-removed who knows a guy who knows a guy who swears he once caught a glimpse of a giant flipper when he was a kid. Really starting to think I’ve been taken in by some tourist trap.

On the upside, I scored this cool novelty swampie license plate with my name on it. And it’s spelled correctly! They usually never even have my name, it just goes straight from “Bill” to “Bobby” or they spell it “Blayk.” Who even knows a Blayk?

Anyway, I’m not quite ready to throw in the towel. There’s still one place left to search: an old lake that used to be part of the main river. The shallow bends dried up years ago, leaving only a deep body of water and providing the perfect hiding spot for a legendary beast. As you can see from the Riverside Meander Legendary Track, there’s definitely been some kind of activity around here. Only one thing left to do, and that’s trying to lure this overgrown swampie out into the open. Grab your gear and let’s see if there’s any truth to these fish tales!

In fact, the Freyalise Tradin' co. be now open fer business, come by to trade with us if ye dare - treasures old an' new!

We'll be 'ere until the end o' the month, so don't take yer time. Ye can also visit Carl, who be givin' out our treasures in 'is quests, the scallywag. Stop by th' kitchen to visit Angrybeard, or the Rathskellar Inn to drop in on Babette or young Bloodhungry. 'Appy plundering!

Remember, the Seasonal Quest Shop will be switching to Autumn items on September 22 as will the Millionaire Center.

Quest-a-thon prizes are being worked on and should go out this weekend. You’ll get an alert! :) Thank you everyone for being so understanding with the delays.

We will be awarding every user with 250CSC over the weekend for battling the lag, timeout errors, real-world problems, and more specifically for any items lost during the end of August-early September. You will also get an alert when you receive your cash shop credits.

Token Shop Celebration!

Today, I will be restocking the Token Shop a little differently.

Instead of having 4-5 restocks over a 24 hour period where the same 6-7 items get restocked, I’m going to be restocking different items throughout the day.

I’m planning on bringing back at least 30 items! Each item may only restock once, so grab what you want and don’t try to plan ahead. Enjoy the mystery! I will be doing a mix of item types (books, wearables, minions, etc) as well as recently restocked and items that haven’t been dusted off in years.

I’m still going to restock it over a 24 period, so people in all time zones can grab an item (or two).

Note: The time restriction for the shop will NOT be changing. Like the original post above says, you'll want to grab what you want and don't try to plan ahead.

It’s been a wild ride, right? Instead of adding a ton of new items, we decided to open the day by reflecting on the community Subeta has built.

I asked Staff and Minimods earlier this week what their favorite parts of the site are or to share some fond memories.

I hope every user has been able to make close friends with various other users. I’m thankful every day I get to work with coworkers (and family!) and I’ve been able to make friends with so many users. Like a lot of younger users, I’ve grown up on this site. My entire teenage years were on here! I don’t know what I’d do without y’all and from the staff, we hope you continue to enjoy the site. <3

New Subscription Item: Sapphire Adorned Barley

We've changed the special item for our Subscription Quester, Councilor, and Goddess plans. We will be changing this special item slot every month.

Note on the special item from the subscription plans: If you are currently subscribed to one of these plans (Quester, Councilor, and Goddess), you will get this month's item on the day your subscription renews. If you get charged a few days before the special item changes out, meaning you get a second copy of the previous prize, you can file a ticket to get it swapped to the new one!

Quest-a-thon: Prizes next week (sorry)

We know everyone is waiting for their Quest-A-Thon prizes. We originally planned on getting those out this week, but with the real-life issues going on for many of our staff (protests! fire!) and the issues the site has been having we’ve decided to do the prizes next week.

We want to make sure the lag/errors are taken care of before we attempt to send out the prizes to everyone. We want it to be a smooth process with no problems, but when are we ever that lucky. ;)

Quest-A-Thon: The results are in!

As a community, you all completed 2,727,204 quests. We on staff are incredibly proud of every single participant!

Speaking of participants, you all will receive 1 pet slot, sparkles forum title, the blue sparkle avatar border, a fashion hoodie, and 5 referral points. Those that place in the top 100 for quests completed will also be receiving the gold sparkles avatar border.

We will be giving the prizes out next week since this is a holiday weekend and we want to make sure nothing goes wrong with those prizes. ;)
