It seems like all Glacier pets have their backs facing toward you;
It must be a trend.. not one I myself am very fond of, however, I do adore the tail detail and drippings from the whiskers. I would have adored all the more to actually SEE the frontside of the Mahar, rather than their backside.

I don't think the body looks off at all. Granted it's more catlike than reptilian, but it makes him look sort of.. sinuous?

This is very beautifully done but I really wish you could see those belly scales I love so much.
It's hard to get this pet to look right because of the canvas limitation. As it is right now, it looks too small...

also i really don't see this apparent disproportionateness (if that's a word :P) that everyone else is seeing xD the body looks just as slender as the other mahars do to me, it's probably just the pose throwing it off or something, cos i just can't see it aha

Meh... sorry artists, but I kinda agree with some of the other users saying that the proportions are off. :/ To each their own I guess, I see plenty of fans.

I agree that it's disproportionate. The head angle makes it look kind of flattened and the body could be a lot fuller. It's still pretty, though. :)
