MATLAL WORKING HARD IN ISLANDS, MAKING POISON FROM XOTL SLIME. HE MAKE CAGE, AND XOTLS MAKE BABIES. SO MANY BABIES.
TOO MANY CAGES NOW, THERE IS NO ROOM FOR MATLAL AND BARON. THEY EAT ALL FOOD, AND BARON CANNOT EVEN BITE THEIR FINGERS (TOO MANY POISON). PLEASE TAKE AWAY XOTLS, BUT DO NOT LICK XOTLS - YOU WILL DIE.

OMFG! these xotls are fudging cute!!!! going to wait til i see more colors of it to decide if i wanna change one of my kiddos to a xotl.

To everyone complaining ridiculously: You DO realize this is NOT a frog, but a fusion? Just like oh, MOST the other pets? This was very obviously to me a mix of a snake/lizard and a frog or otherwise axolotl. Thus the longer body, and the definite lizardish face. Frogs do not have those fan-gills on their head, nor ridges/fins on their back, or what looks to be the stub of a tail. I might also add that aquatic frogs are not very fat at all. Also that back hide leg is fine, you're only seeing the bottom part of it, and it seems to match the front hind leg just fine on positioning. MAN, talk about bitchy/picky. I know not many may read this, but as an avid reptilian/amphibian fanatic since I was 12, I had to speak up!
Very cute! I noticed someone mentioned about the anatomy. I didn't notice anything -wrong- per/say only because I'm not a froggy artist XD The only thing that is bugging me though it the back left (display) leg. It's the line that is for what we would call the 'calf' muscle on us XD I would have thought that line would go behind the one on the back of the upper leg ^^;

Kinda reminds me of my tomato frog, Burt. Love this pet! Great job to the artist who thought it up!
I agree with NoirRaven. The concept for this pet is fantastic, and I'm in love with the color schemes etc., but the anatomy and proportions of the actual artwork are way off and could do with some fixing up. Otherwise, excellent pet! Looking forward to getting one from a Pet Zap. c:

I like these, but I feel that they look too front heavy. It looks like there is something missing from their back ends.
There's no better way to start summer holiday than to log onto Subeta and find out they added a new pet! 8D

Saw the potion post first and I was like "bwah?" but now that I'm here, I'm rather MEH.
Don't get me wrong, it's about damn time Subeta added a new species and I was excited but it wore off fast. Probably because I've been out for the past 6... 7 hours and I'm deader than a doornail. X_X
I was also kind of hoping for more of an iguana type but this is okay. I'm happy... (Like it matters? XD)
The only things I don't like about this species is the huge, HUGE head, short as heck front legs, double bent back legs, the tiny bodies and... whatever the hell is sticking out the side of their head there. (What are those... fins?) The face, the colors and the ridge down the back are great and I know they're kind of supposed to be in that, in between tadpole and adult frog stage but that doesn't mean they don't look weird at that stage either.
Over all: B-
