:/ I thought the whole point of trunks is that you can get a wide variety of items for a set price. Correct me if I'm wrong, but MOST people don't just have extra CSC (or any for that matter). I don't have one CW because of the ridiculously high price tag.

Wow, I really like the items and want many of them, but for 250 CSC each (and for only one item), I just don't find it worth it at all. Maybe for the wig, but the other clothing items, not so much. Even regular and special edition Delish clothing items aren't 250 csc each. Yikes.

The coy set is beautiful but 250 for each piece is ridiculous. If this is going to be the trend in pricing subeta is going to get even less money from me in the future, this coming from someone who used to always buy new Costume trunks.
Just because a small percentage of the userbase buys CWs doesn't mean that everyone has an increased amount of CSC to spend. In fact, the average, non-artist user probably has less thanks to inflation and hardly any free offers now. I'm involved in CWs and don't think they justify the price at all.
They're all beautiful and I would definitely buy the wig if it were redeemable, though.

GUYS. Not everyone buys CWs. Some people actively avoid them BECAUSE of the price tag. You cannot use CWs as a reason for these Subeta released items to be priced as they are. (Or rather, you can, but it's a very different example and I'd much rather you wouldn't.)
I do love all of the pieces, they really are beautiful. And while I am incline to pay 250csc for the stockings, I'm having a hard time deciding if I would spend that much on the belt or the corset. It has nothing to do with the funds, but more to do with the reason behind it, unfortunately.

I think the comparison of these to trunks or boutique sets if far more accurate then DPs or chance bags. These are all designed as one outfit set. The idea is to complete the set, yet to do so would cost way more then buying a trunk or boutique set. Each of these sets completed is 2000 CSC, while boutique sets (which have 3-4 more items) cost 1200, there are a lot more items in the trunks (especially newer trunks) and a trunk only cost 500 CSC for a complete male or female set. I do really love the art and have added a few items to my wishlist but they may stay there for a while.
I wish people in the news post would stop bringing up CWs as an example of how these prices are okay.

I like quite a few of these items, but that's rather pricey for a full set ($40 for both). Delish sets don't cost that much. (And I really don't care that there's a crazy person here and there that will spend ridiculous amounts on CWs. That's their decision, not mine.)

I want the Koi set, but. IT. IS. NOT. GOING. TO. HAPPEN. Unless the price is severely reduced, or this gets sold as a new costume trunk. Seriously, 250csc for ONE item? And there are 8 to the set? Uh, no.
These are really beautiful, but they do seem like they should be costume trunks. 2000 for the whole set is too much for me, but I would definitely spend 1200 for it. Maybe even a little more.
Hn... I bought one but somehow missed the "chose one" note. I am disappointed--I'd rather have gotten two items randomly or had them be disparate like a monthly item. It's not really the price (I buy monthly packs all the time) per item but the expectation of a "set" (that I'll never complete now) that bothers me... If you want to make them pricey per item, the boutique is better and proven.

CWs tend to be stand alone items, often fandom based. Plus this looks a lot like a trunk, an entire outfit, and asking 2000CSC is a bit much, especially if it's only 8 items when you can buy ~12 Cash Shop Boutique items for like, 800CSC less.
People complained about 600CSC CWs but it was like that from the beginning. This kinda looks like you're charging 1500CSC over what you'd normally charge for something like this.

I literally can't afford for 250 csc per item :/ The Coy locks look nice, but I would like a different color though.

People pay upwards of 600 csc for a single item on the CW market, including belts, shoes, necklaces, hair bows, and other very small items

People scramble to be able to throw 600+ csc at the CW artists for them!
The art for these is amazing and the same exceptional quality as any other CW on site so why are you complaining that these are less than half the price of a CW, widely available to anyone right now with no limit on the number released, and you get to actually choose which item it is you want?!
I would've paid 600 csc for each of these items in the CW market, so I am super happy to see them at an affordable price for anyone who isn't normally able to afford big fancy CWs

$2.50 for each item? That's a lot of money for all of it. I can't afford that, sorry. Even if I could, I wouldn't spend that much for one item. 250 CSC for one pair of shoes is ridic.
Mmm, I'm going to have to go along with the rest. As a 500 CSC chest for all items I'd go for the Coy set, but not for 250 CSC each.

pitching in with everyone else i think it'd be a little more fair if it was two items. I've seen a lot of the chance bag sets do that recently give you two items especially given some of the pieces are more intricate and little.despite this you can see each and every piece of each set was so carefully drawn that its hard to pick which item you would want over the others. there doesn't seem to be any "filler" style items.

I must say, I don't typically comment on news things but.. I'm going to agree with the 99% of others. These are way over priced for only getting ONE item. Not a very good idea I must say.
THOUGH - I do want to just say that despite my bitching I do like these sets a lot! Hence why I'm grouchy haha. The Coy set is especially beautiful, well done artists.

but some of them (ascrap of cloth tie to be held, or the gloves) are simply not worth the price tag, and I don't see ever being worth it. Gorgeous artwork, but not worth $20 per set.
