Throwback Challengers!
Today is our first Throwback Challenger day! On the second Thursday of every month, we’ll be bringing back a few challengers from previous plots, events, holidays, etc. You'll have the entire month to fight the throwback challengers before they're rotated out for new challengers the next month! In some cases, the throwback challengers might have new loot while sometimes we’re just bringing back a few challengers for the chance to get their loot back in circulation!
This month we’ve brought back the Pylots! You have until July 14th to fight Pylot (the Wary), Pylot (the peeved), Pylot Attacks!, Enraged Pylot, and Decayed Pylot.
What are you waiting for? You can find the Pylots in the throwback tab in the Battle Coliseum.

I've always been so disappointed that pylot is a battle challenger. I've never been fanboy for any pet on site... but my gosh, if he had been a pet or even experiment pet.... I'd develop all the creepy shrines in the world to have one.
Pylot, the Peeved drops the Scavenged Bow and Quiver. I just beat it.

Holy. Shit. I can't wait to get home. Too bad I only just started my work shift. Good thing I'm off tomorrow. Going to get me some pylot loot.

Well, my first thought was about the achievements, which unfortunately, it seems, won't be unretired.

Now all we need is the high score tables back to make this a little competitive, maybe a little something to the top 10 of each challenger, just like a tome or set of mage amulets or something incentivizing. Something to actually do everyday on subeta and feel like youre accomplishing something fighting for the top of the list. And for the little challengers anyone can get there really since even at low tiers its hard to get hit vs a low opponent even after 500 wins.
This is really exciting, I'm super stoked to see the upcoming challengers each month. :)

i'm not gonna lie i'm a lil salty about the achievement staying retired even if i understand why bc i just checked and i got to 95/100 before stopping i guess LMAO THANKS PAST ME EXCELLENT WORK (@Kotoori if i remember correctly pylot showed up during the pandemic where we were carting pastry boxes around and translating morse code so skitters could ask fantine out on a date. pylot had nothing to do with any of it, we just. beat the poor baby up anyway???)
I never experienced the Pylot plot...probably happened during my 4 year hiatus. Still cool to battle it though! Too bad my pet is only T8...
What exactly happened in the Pylot plot? I wasn't around then and I've never been that clear on the events. :/
