oh man these are gorgeous!! the textures on the donadak are C R I S P

oooh I LOVE how these both hearken back to the earlier versions of these pets!! not just the Donadak but also the Malticorn not having the buttspots (which were only added for the current design), like those were a more recent development they've acquired over years of domestication, I loooove the implication of an in-universe reason for the design change!!! and the sideways pupils but it still has those sweet Malti eyes, andandand these are both so pretty and aaaa!!! I love them!!!!

I just recently came back this week and I am SO excited to see more Wild pets come out. i'm obsessed

oh, I love this version of the Malticorn! And am loving the natural stone striation of the Donadak's body and how the colors of its crystals complement them. The Wild line has been fantastic with every release ^ ^

More Wild pets! Lets out a completely undignified squeal Love them! Both are cool, but that mountain goat is striking! Love the blues.

Pretty sure the wild donadak yearns to return to the mountain as a boulder. No arms, no legs, just body... or head? hm. Hard to say. & hands too, i guess.
But, seriously, it's cute & looks lovely. A very good pet rock.

i feel so spoiled with a new eddie bell line and now more wild pets 🖤 they're so cute and i also love the goat-like features on the malticorn! i have to look into the lore on all the pets

@Satyr The body is based on sandstone! Not anything too specific since there's a lot of variety there, but just aiming for the general feel.
And then there's red jasper, citrine, and clear quartz for all the spiky rocky bits.
@BlueRiver That was absolutely my intention with the rocky "gloves"!

Yay for more wild pets! But I was hoping for other species. I've been holding 1 pet to transform into Wild but guess I will keep waiting for something I like better. So far the wild endeavor is the best because it looks like a dragon.

So I'm obsessed with the goat eyes on the Malticorn and now want a goat pet (I'm not a Capricorn or anything...) but I'm just not a unicorn person. However, you guys did an amazing job on these!<3
Still love the Wild Serpenth the most :D

BIG fan of giving the malticorn goat pupils. excellent execution.
is mineral sleep new donadak lore? i'm assuming it's some kind of torpor/stasis, yeah? very very cool. shout out to the donadak artist for the great job, i'm especially fond of the foliations on the body. would be very interested to see the references you used.
Overall, bangup job on these two pets. Really solidifying Wild as the best color on the site.

Donadak has always been one of my favorite pets as well just because of how unique it is, and this wild version is so pretty! As cool as the extra crystal/rock growths are, I really love the striations on the body itself, such a nice detail from the artist!

I've always found Donadaks cute because of how strange they look (plus, I really like stones and minerals), but I couldn't quite make an OC with the one I had that I was happy with, so I ended up turning it into another pet. It's great that they gave it this color, it looks incredible! As for the Malticorn, I'm fascinated by this color! I love its design—and I love goats. I think this one is making it onto my list of favorites, right alongside the Demi and the Bovyne.

I'll fully admit to knowing next to nothing about Donadaks, but is this a case of "Babe wake up, new Donadak lore just dropped!" or was the mineral sleep a known behavior?
I checked their Subetapedia entry, and it says that the fossil record shows they didn't used to have rocky spikes, but are thought to have developed them to adapt better to their rocky environment! Very interesting indeed :D
Anyway, the art is fantastic, great job, artists! And thank you staff for releasing these sweet, feisty babies for us!
