I really love both redraws. Espacially the Kerubi is so much better! I love Kerubis but I hated the old version, because of the coloured outlines and the face with strange eyes and an ugly muzzle (it did even look like another species...). This version is just perfect!

The kerubi is soo cute, but the paws are a little awkward. Other than that, it's adorable, the eyes are irresistible.

I'd also like to agree with Corvette on the isse that the old Kerubi was sleek and graceful - and this one has a disticnt chubbiness feel about it in the body, and most particularly the face. I can't help but feel my poor Varia got into a tonne of sweets and chubbed up while I wasn't looking. <img src=http://www.subeta.org/images/smilies/6398_emoticon_sad.gif border=0>
Whoa. The new kerubi has a giant butt now. I don't like the sitting pose and don't get why it was changed. The terracoon is nicer, but still not something I'd eve want.

-0 I preferred the old ones in both cases. They just had so much personality than these ones. The lineart is better, but... I 'dunno. They're just not up to the subeta standards of old

The old Angelic Kerubi looked MUCH better O.o
Being a kerubi owner, I do know that the common kerubi is white/grey-ish with blue markings. And unless my monitor is totally screwed up, the extremly lite grey-ish purple looks an aweful lot like the common color. The old kerubi was more pure purple.

Oh, and people have a right to their opinion. Just because somebody doesn't like a certain piece of art, it doesn't make them rude. Some art truly is just crap.
I love these better than the old revamps. Though I love the angelic terracoon, I'm contempt with my bloodred one right now. But the kerubi...I may consider it. The tail is kind of strange, but not that I would twitch like nuts. The angelic pets always remind me of Christmas greeting cards...these two are very cute......especially like the gentle expression on the kerubi.
Oh! I really like the Angelic Terracoon! Gives me more respect for the revamp! ^^ The old one still looks more cute and playful, but not by much. Very lifelike, I must say. (but of course, that's the direction the pets have been going in) My only crit would have to be the wings, as I like the wings on the old one a lot better, but big deal. XD
As for the Angelic Kerubi, I can't say I like it much. It's a total personality change from the old one, in my opinion. The old one looked so sleek, wise, and graceful. Of course the artwork desperately needed an update, as it was way out of proportion to the modern style. However, I don't feel a whole personality change was necessary. Now the Angelic Kerubi just looks like a big, cutesy blob rather than some graceful creature. In my opinion, it looks like a Chibi Kerubi with wings and a halo. Granted, the artworks is very nice, and whoever drew it probably worked very hard on it. My angelic kerubi was the ONE pet I joined subeta for... and now she's gone. Seriously though, the art was beautiful for that pet - and it had such an amazing attitude and pose that is just completly not there anymore. I really loved the colors of the old angelic kerubi as well - the soft purples and very understated blue/lilacs were what made that pet special - now it just looks like a common kerubi with wings. I'm really upset with the face - it does't hold that same coy little grin with the almost sultry-looking eyes. Even the ears aren't flattened back in that 'Is being a Diva such a bad thing?' flippiant attitude.

I like the Terracoon, but I'm not a big fan of the new Angelic Kerubi. The old one was MUCH better, in my opinion --- in every way, though I like the halo on the new one. I honestly don't like that revamp.

Yeah Trucker, but if we posted just saying we didn't like the Kerubi, then everyone would have been saying we were just being rude. We have just as much right to say if we don't like it as y'all who do like them. And I don't see anything specifically on this post that says we can't say we don't like it. And I was also commenting that I adore the Terracoon.
But the Terracoon looks nice.
