OMG. Okay, this is certainly the best revampe I've seen so far. Not that I've been here long, but still. I happen to like this. Sure, the paw is bent and the eyes do look a little glossy, but it does look much sharper. The only thing I might pick on is the shadow things....they don't look like the other keetos'. Still, I think this looks great. Can't wait to see the other revamps if it's accepted. <img src=http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_happy.gif border=0>

The art quality of this one is wonderful, don't get me wrong. The face feels like it's being seen through a slight fish-eye lens, concentrated on the forehead. =/ I too miss the trickster feel. It was essential to my keeto's character.

um, HELLO!!! the news post said one of the more creepy residents of subeta, This is not a creepy pet anymore! I voted no. the only revamps/retouches i liked since i joined this site are the escalade and the ontra. Why redo pets that dont need redoing? if you ask me work on the pets that actually need to be changed, like the kumos, it looks depressed.

Okay, not much changed compared to the old version but then again if you look at it - new outlines, better shading. Yay for the new 'version' which is actually simply an update of the outlines and the shading... xD I still love the Keeto.

I like the face better on the old, on the new is looks strange to me, on the old I liked how the cheek was more pointed than slopped, also the eyes seem wider than on the old, perhaps due to the thinner lineart, but looks like it kinda has the 'O_O' expression...just smiling, it sort of loses the personality of the pet, which had a more of a trickster-like feel to it.
Also its further most front leg is really bugging me, it looks stiff and like its limping. <img src=http://images.subeta.org/smilies/smiley_xface.gif border=0>
However, I do like the shading more on the new one, its more defined and makes it look less flat. However, I'm voting old on this one, Sorry.

I like it personally. It's no longer a box from heck. It's not so different like the dragon revamp that threw most of the users for a loop. It's subtle, and deifined. Better at, and shading.
About the stitches- I say keep them. They're a trade-mark for that species it doesn't make sense to just take them off. =x

I think the eye could be moved forward a little, closer to the snout than it is; where it's at now makes the head seem slightly off. Other than that, my complaints are all a matter of taste. XD Good job to whoever drew this, you kept the pet's personality very well.

I think that the only reason the forehead looks different is because the dark eye-circles are smaller now. Although I really can't tell that the forehead is any bigger than it was.
About the aura: I think the OLD aura actually looks a lot more paint-splashy. We just don't notice it on the old one because we're used to it.
I would like it if the new aura were more wispy and glowy, though (even though it is already an improvement on the old one). And a little more black around the eyes would be good--that's one of the things I really love about the keeto.

I agree with a few other posts that the first thing I saw about the redraw was the forehead seemed a little large. I like that the feet look more animated, but overall I had to vote old. Not that the art isn't awesome! I guess it looks more chibi-ish to me than the original Keeto.<br />
Speaking of which, the Chibi and other specialty colors aren't going to match this one I hope? I do like the Galactic, Hydrus, GY and DM poses/art the way they are. ^^;

Finally, a Keeto revamp! I like this one much better than any other revamp. My only suggestion is to lighten or darken this one to make it more distinct from the old one. At a quick glance, they look exactly the same.
And please don't change the pose of the Hydrus one to match this!

Glad to see the artists kept VERY close to the original but still managed to make it look better. ^-^ Even though I don't own a Keeto I've always enjoyed them. Glad to see it has better shading and anatomy now, and better looking 'fur'. Kudo's to the artist.

The point of this revamp was to fix any anatomy problems, give it more and better shading, and make it look more like its redraws. Compare this one too spectrum, darkmatter and hydrus and you may see.

Uhh... guys. This is exactly the same pet with better shading; it's not "ruining" your favorite pet or anything. -.o And the eyes are fine the way they are. They're not too wide; the old eyes were misshapen.

It's... amazing! I don't think this one really needed a poll, but either way, excellent job. This is what I sorta expect when people say pets are revamped. I think the Malarchy should be revamped like this as well. Very nicely done.

Defiantly keeping true to the species this time. I can barely tell the difference. Not really anything to say about this since its pretty much the original with a few touch ups, except that the art is indeed better and it's definitely a thumbs up.

There really isn't a big significant difference between them like there have been with other redraws. So I was just wondering, if there is not a significant difference as with the other redraws, why the change? Just wondering, really. Ive been waiting so long! Finally! Although I was hoping for a bit more difference in the revamp....it looks to plump and average in my opinion. When it comes to the chest and stomach comments I have no idea what you're saying I just put them one on the other and dropped opacity... It has more chest fluff on the revamp and the same stomach angle. The old one is actually thinner than the new one.
Sure they fixed the legs and the eyes look fine. Even better, the aura is almost exactly the same, the newer one had more dramatic curls.
Overall the new one is more anatomically correct, heck it's a great retouch!

I don't know much about light sources, but I do feel that the tail could use a bit more shading. Compared to the rest of the body it looks a little flat. I do like the revamp though, and it had addressed issues that I didn't even realize were a problem area before now, except the lack of a wrist and appearing to not be able to bend it's paws at all. I do feel like the cheek fur could stand to look a little more natrual, like how the inner ear's fur was. I love what was done to the both back paws, and the buttocks :X I love the new muzzle though. I think if there was a bit more black around the eyes it would help revive the personality of the original, and maybe cast a bit of a shadow on th eye? I don't know if that would not work with current light source, but it is one of the things that I noticed was in the original and not in the revamp, and I think it would help fix the problem of the eyes looking dead. Well I don't think they look dead but others seem to think so. And/or maybe narrow the eye a bit more so it looks more like a glare and less cute? I -really- like the revamp. At first glance I saw no real difference, but the more time I spent looking at it, the more the changes stuck out to me, and now they look completely different. I think it looks great and is a wonderful improvment.

It's hardly any different at all.. But I don't like the new one. It's more cute than Keeto, and I just don't like the distinction in the paws.. It looks like a poodle trying to daintily avoid a puddle. Maybe more choppy fur-husk would make it even out?

Well, I think it's a BIG (in big bold letters) improvement from the current one, and major from the devamp. I like it, and I can't wait until nuclear or glacier, the only two keeto colors left. Now it's going to be a lot easier drawing the Keeto, also. And it's sooooooooooooo (in neverending O's) cute! I mean, it used to look like a zombie! No offense, though. Yay for all those keetos, a chance to become POPULAR!

I only see a few minor differences, which are really small its hard to see. To me it doesn't look liked it was revamped at all. Its still cute none the less, but really it still looks the same. I probably wouldn't have noticed if you didn't mention it was revamped.

I like it, though I think after having this pose for the past two versions, that the keeto could use a little more of a pose-change. X3 Also, I believe there needs to be more fur detail, especially on the head, cheeks, tail, and neck. I wonder what the GY keeto will look like?

While it's beyond awesome that someone finally got the hint and attempted a retouch instead of a total overhaul, the changes to the face still manage to change the pet's personality. The thinner muzzle takes away the smug smirk of the original, and the eyes look more straightforward and blank, while the original had a more cunning look. Still, preserving the pose and NOT burying it in shiny plastic shading was a step in the right direction. More revamps should follow this pattern.

Although I've always wondered why subeta ever changed the scelara (whites of the eyes) from yellow to white. I thought it made them look really cool, and I loved it.

I always loved the Keeto as it was and never thought it needed a redraw, but this is a subtle improvement that works quite nicely. Great job, whoever drew it! ^^

There isn't much of a difference between the two really that I can see..it took a bit of studying to see the differences (the hair is more separated, the eyes are different). It's nice, not an extreme change but I still think I like the old one a little better...XP....whoever drew the revamp did a nice job though!

The malticorn for instance - why couldn't it just be redrawn and tweaked to be in the new style/more anatomically correct rather than having the entire personality completely changed?

Overall I do like the revamp, however I really loved the slightly more mischievous look on the original. The eyes and mouth now look a little more soft. the aura too could flow a bit more around the head too, but besides that I like the revamp. Just to me that mischievous look was the main reason I liked the Keeto so much.

The aura. It just looks... a bit stiff, really. There are swiftly parts in the bottom area, but the top just looks like a splash of paint to me; flat and lacking any kind of liveliness. There's a nice amount of it in some places, but in others, it's simply lacking (front legs).

The mane. It could use a tiny bit more... fluffiness? Bah, to cut things short and be blunt, give it a bit more mane on the chest. The current mane is most likely the thing to blame for making the new Keeto's head look large.

The stomach. It might be a good idea to make it less starved-looking. n_n;; It might be just me, but the new Keeto looks oddly... hungry to me when I look at it's slim belly. It's making the Keeto look a bit out of proportion.

I was pretty concerned about a future revamp of the Keeto, because I love the spunk and attitude of the original. That's why I love these retouches: not fixing anything that's not broken, just streamlining it a bit to fit in with the overall style of the newer and revamped pets. Nice job!

Well, it's a nice retouch - all the changes are improvements to me. However, I've been hoping this guy gets revamped since the first time I saw it. The front legs are so thick and straight that every time I look at the Keeto I am reminded of a saw horse. <img src=http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_sad.gif border=0> It looks like one front paw was altered slightly, but it's just not enough.

I think the body is far too stumpy, it has no neck an dthe facial expression is lacking. The ghostly aura could be whispier as well as the body hair, everything seems so stunted.

I've been hoping that the revamp of the Keeto would come soon since it has always looked so stiff to me, but to be honest I can hardly tell the difference. :/ And even if it is much better drawn and I like the subtle changes, I'd prefer to see it a bit more re-drawn instead of almost exactly the same. The legs, specifically, the back look more appropriate,as does the back hip, and the cheeks.. well, the animals right cheek has lost that weird little... bump that always bugged me. The coloring is just a slight difference, and I fully adore the slight changes... And yes, very subtle changes, Artists, but it does the job of refining this little creepy gem perfectly. Well done!

I am with Skitty, I would have really liked a whole repose on this, I am thinking a mix between Reborn and Hydrus. At the moment neither of them look like they have a neck and their legs are still bad, they are better now, but they still look a bit odd to me.

I really like the updated version. X3 The legs are much nicer. The only things I don't care for are the eyes and hair. They look... wierd. o__O;; I think it's the shape of the black marks around the eyes that does it, it makes it look like the eyes are too far apart (even if they aren't) or are angled back in an odd way. I think the hair should stick up less... like maybe have it lay down flatter against the forehead? It looks like it's trying to stab someone as it is. XD

In my personal opinion I thought the Keeto was one of the species that needed a complete redraw (the leg anatomy was horrid!) but this is a pretty good reline. I'll vote for it, but I don't think I'll ever be getting a Keeto as a pet.

I don't like it..... The head is a little too big for the body and out of shape, (Too long width-wise), and that front leg looks a bit too..... bent at the wrong place. And it's aura is so..... It doesn't look as spontaneous and curly-whisp like as the old one. The eyes are lacking the character and it looks like it is missing the entire back of the head. The underbelly, too, is all wrong. I loved how the old one looked before and I shall be voting against this revamp.
And for those who would jump on me for my criticisms; It's a free country/web and I am allowed to voice my opinions. I may not own a Keeto, but I love the little guys dearly.
