Actually I like the older version much better. Especially the little wings on its legs. And the older version is more like a cub, so the cuteness goes with it very well, but the new version... I dunno, it looks big, but still, with a cute face, they just don't go well with each other. I'd like the new version better if you made it a more fenzy face like the current reborn anyu :3

What an amazing redraw! My only comments are that the feet seem a little small (and not shaggy enough, if you want it polar bear-esque!), and that the swirl by the eye is a little distracting. The two different markings on the bands are also a little distracting, at least to me.

opps, also forgot to add that I changed the mane like thing and that the coloring is terrible...I only have MS paint.

I also liked the brown muzzle on the last anyu. :3 Either case I like this new design, it's a nice update.

I like the new one better but, yeah missing tail....that should come back, and the claws look a little funny...like too wide? That's it though.

Personally, I prefer the old one for a few reasons. First, it's a bit shiny instead of furry. Second, it looks kind of like it has a mane. And finally, the leg things have different designs...anyway, I love the eyes and the markings around them. But I do like Nestly's idea fot he eyes better. and WAIT?!? where is the tail???

Aww SO adorable! But maybe it should look a bit less like de clawsion. Or maybe the clawsion should be revemped to be different? There are too many bears. =P

I think it is a bit overshaded, like the first kora revamp. It takes on the illusion of being shiny instead of furry.

Awww, the anyu has a lovely revamp. It really is more 'alive' with this revamp... way to go to the artist. My only crit would be that the legs look too.... short? Blah, I have no idea really what it is, and in the grand scheme it doesn't mean anything cause it is just absolutely adorable!

Not a big fan of its bulkiness even though I know the artist wanted it to look like it could survive in the cold. The eyes seem "lifeless" as another user mentioned, but the markings about them are lovely. Despite that, the art is beautiful even though it is not to my personal tastes.

I think this revamp is really nice. Its very cute and chubby. But I also like the big paws and darker eyes of the old one. Maybe with the same design on the braclets, darker eyes, and bigger paws, I would like this revamp more.Either way, I think Rah did a very good job. ^^

you know..the bracelets being two dif. designs are possibly one thing making it not 'work' completely. the swirly ones on the front paws match the eye fur swirl pattern more ^^

I like the new a lot - the head a bit small though - it makes it look like he's overweight. The old version is "softer" - cuter but the new has nice detail. I don't like the paws on the new one. I like the suggestions for adding more shoulder and a tail too.

I really don't like the new one. I own an Anyu, and the change in the eyes on this new one really bothers me. The swirling pattern on the eyes make it look too girly, and, in my opinion, the eyes themselves were better in the old one. The brown muzzle would be better kept, though.<br />
I do appreciate the detail on the bracelets and the perspective, though.

Well, it better than the original, but it's very feminine. Which wouldn't be very good for everyone owning a male anyu. <br />
Also, it's eyes are too far apart. Especially for a predatory animal. Any bear has it's eyes set closer together in it's skull, like anything else that hunts. Especially if we're talking polar bear. With the way the mouth is open and the way the eyes are set in it's skull, it has an overall dopey, unintelligent expression. =/ The muzzle seems to short, like it's been squished up more like a Clawsion's face. It might look better with the muzzle a little longer, or the head at a -slightly- different angle. The ears are also... Not rounded enough. Right now they look more like undersized mouse ears.<br />
...In fact, now this looks more like an older, dopier Clawsion than an Anyu. <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/smiley_xface.gif" border="0" /> It's a wonderful piece of art, but I couldn't see myself owning one, or even keeping it for the next few hours if I got it in a zap.<br />

Some of you are absolutely insane. This revamp is by far my favourite of all of them. I always thought the old Anyu was lacking, and this new version is truly quite stunning. Personally, I adore it to bits. :3

Don't get me wrong, I like this new Anyu loads better than the old one. It fits together better and has more detail - I'm especially liking the eyes, ears, fur, and winged bracelets (though, why is the pattern different on the front and back limbs?) The wings don't look pasted on anymore, huzzah!<br />

But I still think some tweaks need to be done before it's implemented all over the site. First, the odd face shape - while I can see where the artist was trying to stay true to the original while improving on it - not an easy thing to do! - I just don't think angular cheek tufts fit on a rounded body. They should be downplayed, maybe shifted more to the bottom of the face, or just done away with. <br />

Usually a bigger head makes it easier to convey facial expression, but this Anyu's head needs to shrink some. Not a lot, just enough to make it fit better. Also, I like having that little bit of the tail visible, as some others have already suggested.<br />

As for the feet, they may be a little small, but I think they look more flat than small. I think we can all agree that any bear's paw is friggin' massive. Try making them a bit thicker and see what happens. <br />

Re: the debate over which bear an Anyu is modeled after - it doesn't necessarily have to be one or the other. It's perfectly acceptable for it to be a composite of many bears. Maybe polar bears don't have neck ruffs or wide paws, but if the Anyu came from/lived in an extremely cold climate, having those things would work to its advantage, don't you think? Extra skin to protect vital blood vessels and airways in the neck, and wide paws to disperse its weight over a larger area when walking on snow so it doesn't sink constantly. Also would make effective paddles for in the water.<br />

I love this revamp. I however have to say I voted no. This is only because of the eyes. I'm sorry to say it but I really think the eyes are not supah!cool. Overdramatic i know. If the eyes were made a darkshade, with a stronger highlight, then it would be amazingg. I think this is the best revamp so far on subeta. Im fine with it being revamped even if the eyes aren't changed though.<br />

i like the eye swirlies XD and i like nestlys tail addition example a lot. i think one thing that throws me,aside from it being so dif. from the original,is the bracelets. i always pictured it as 'part of' my anyu (i apologize to whomever drew that one if that wasnt the intent,but its how i pictured it for moonshadow). that and i worry that the cream version wont have that same..i dont know,light..glow..something (which as i said fits my particular anyu. moonshadow,you know. so yeah..maybe other people wouldnt mind an unglowy cream.) and also the original looks uber happy XD

Anyhow, we all know revamps can't be identical and need to be set apart with some updates. Nothing wrong with that. But when you are used to seeing that cute tail, or whatever pet it may be, people tend to look for it in the newer versions. And I think alot of people have given very tasteful criticism. And at least no other, has came in here bashing another, or putting one down for things they have said.

As an owner of 3 anyu's I'm not sure how I feel about this. I have been hoping for a revamp, but I have always hoped them to be revamped to look less "goofy" *they always have had a goofy/dumb expression to me * and look more regal like the reborn version my first and still favourite Will this grow on me eh probably but for right now I just don't know.

They aren't as cute, but looks more to size. So kind of a mixed choice for me.

Oh, and Nestly, I love the eyes on yours. I didn't even really notice how blank and creepy they were in the revamp until I compared them to your version. <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" />
