i dont want to get into the thick of things. i will just say i prefered the old one as it truly suits my anyu,but the art on this one isnt horrible-just not my own pref.,and at any rate it is winning by a lot and even if it were changed again it wouldnt be by much (i.e. kora revamp) so yeah..it is what it is,which is good art (i wish i could draw. my husband can and i would love that ability too-to be able to put pictures in my head onto paper-or computer..),though i like the old one far more,and its gonna change to this one. everyone should just be nice,dang it T_T

Its feet seem a bit small, but I LOVE those bracelets.
I really love the new revamp. If I had room, I'd adopt one. However much I love it though, I think if you made it a little thinner and allowed the tail to be seen, it would make it much better. I love the new design in total though. And to people who say it's a polar bear, it isn't. Actually, it reminds me more of a panda than anything. But an Anyu is an Anyu, not a bear.<br />

i love the bracelet designs, but...that's about it. the old version was much cuter. it had a more bear cub (baby) look, and the new one's just kind of fat and not very cute. it'd also be nice if the tail could be seen..<br />

Hrm.. I love the body. But the face looks. Dumb. XD Not Dumb like DUMB. But dumb like a dumb expression. Like it's just drooling and saying "DUUHHHH" over and over XD
I always liked the old anyu because it looked athletic and a bit impish, and the winged feet reminded me of Mercury. This one looks a bit fat and shaggy, and too cuddly. Other than that it looks good. ^^

I was never really a huge fan of the Anyu, but I think I like this new one better. The only crits I have to comment on are the expression kind of bothers me. I think it's just the mouth, but... to me it looks kind of odd.<br />

Sevva, It's a bit rude of you to 'yell' at people for providing constructive criticism when the artists ask for it. They said that they would like constructive criticism and that is simply what we are providing. If we were saying things like "this sucks I don't like it" then THAT would be something to get upset about. I don't like the anklets either,and just because they happen to be anklets in the playset doesn't mean that they were anklets on the original version. If we were going by that logic the ears would be detatchable as well.<br />
The reason I don't like the design on the anklets is because they seem to overwhelm the beautiful design of the pet. I REALLY like the way the design on the eye has been updated, really the only thing that doesn't seem right to me is the anklets. Aww, I really don't want to keep commenting on this news item, but I really have to comment on the fact that, for the most part, people are expressing legitimate concerns. Some people really liked the Anyu's tail, so they're saying "I miss the tail". There's nothing wrong with that. That doesn't mean that the tail can or should be added, but at least the artist(s) know what the public thinks and wants, and when you have a product that you're trying to sell or promote, you want to cater to your audience. I should hope those in charge of Subeta want to hear what people like and don't like before they make the final cut, because its in their best interest. As the players of this website, it's not our job to make anyone, even artists, feel good.

I love the change to the markings/wings, but I very much dislike the body structure change.. it's seems to now be a very good drawing of a polar bear, but maybe not of the Anyu. It looks older compared to the old version. I like the body, face, and paws of the old one but the markings change is very good. ^^
I actually have to agree with what Paintz said. The line on the Anyu's eye DOES make it look more feminine, and since the same picture is used for male/female/genderless pets, I don't think that was a good chance. Also, I think in updating this one, if you really must, keep the basic idea of the original.<br />

The anyu is supposed to be based off of a polar bear, which have HUGE paws. The small paws on this one not only look strange for its "species", but out-of-proportion. <br />

I don't quite like the curving of the ears. They probably would look better curving forward, like they normally would, rather than up. Also, the bands around its wrists and ankles. I know that it looks more realistic to have the fur poking over their top edges, but it just...bugs me. I don't know why. Perhaps the fur could be smooth instead? Like instead of sliding on the bands, they were clamped on instead? <br />

Based on a polar bear or not, the face is totally different as well as the legs in proportion to the body, etc. The wings on it's ankles don't seem to fit with the design anymore and the lovely expression has turned into a bit of an awkward stare x D<br />

Wow, that is just AMAZING! I've never been a big fan of Anyus, but this could make me one. It's so cute and fluffy and slightly (but not overly) pudgy. It's shading isn't super dark, and the patterned bracelets and eye markings just add so much! hugs the Anyu =3<br />

I made this picture. People will probably complain that it makes it look "even fatter", but I like it fat and fluffy, so there. The picture is mainly to address the problem the old Anyu and the new Anyu seem to have, and that is they lack right shoulders or are able to bend them in very strange angles. So, I propose, the shoulder is added...Otherwise, I love it, and hope it is updated very soon! (Spectrum Anyu too, since that's the one I have! Hehe)

I made this picture. People will probably complain that it makes it look "even fatter", but I like it fat and fluffy, so there. The picture is mainly to address the problem the old Anyu and the new Anyu seem to have, and that is they lack right shoulders or are able to bend them in very strange angles. So, I propose, the shoulder is added...Otherwise, I love it, and hope it is updated very soon! (Spectrum Anyu too, since that's the one I have! Hehe)
Hmm...I miss the tail and maybe could be a bit thinner in the belly, but overall not bad. I don't think I'll ever like the species ever, but it does need a revamp.<br />

It's cute, but a few things still need a bit of work. Firstly, it doesn't have a tail. I'm not sure if the old one did, but that definetly pops out at me that this one doesn't have one. Also, the face looks a lot different than the body. I feel the head should have a furrier look, and a bit more shading.

It's not meant to be just a bear - it's meant to be a POLAR bear. Compare some pictures of polar bears to pictures of, say, kodiak or grizzly bears. Their bodies are VERY different. Polar bears are more slender and streamlined because they're built to swim, and no, they don't have that ruff around the neck - that's a feature unique to brown bears.<br />

I think it's the ones who are "complaining about the complainers" who need to take a look at some real bear pictures before dogging on all the critiques here.<br />

Simple solution: if it's meant to look like a polar bear, then give it the features of a polar bear. If it's meant to look like a white grizzly bear, then don't say it's meant to be a polar bear.

I really love the Anyu revamp, but think some darker colour around the muzzle (much lighter than old version though) would be great. Maybe a little tail too (again smaller than old version). LOVE the eyes!

Anyu's revamp passes, with flying colors. This is a revamp that the actually got right. The body size vs paws vs head are amazingly proportionate, the fur is much better, much flufflier, And it overall looks very bear-esque. If people are going to complain about this, then they'll complain about everything. And for once, I can totally give my approval, and totally enjoy this revamp. <br />

Wow, I have no idea which one looks better. I thought the Anyu revamp would look more like the style of the Reborn Anyu. This one looks... I dunno, the lines make it look weird, like that art isn't all the way updated. And the shading seems sub-par. Is this a new artist? The lines from the eyes being curled are... bleh. They should just be straight. But it is better than the old, I suppose, and the bracelets don't bother me as much as I first thought.

As a fantasy element, I love the mismatched anklets. It almost gives a gypsy feel to it. The character possibilities are endless.
