well, the legs looks too small and thin for the big body and the head is to slick for the fluffy body
I like the new one a lot, the strange little wings on it's feet never made any sense and kept me from liking the original. Them being just accessories makes a lot more sense and just looks better in general.

I understand, I was simply pointing out that the inspiration for the Anyu has smaller paws, so rah was probably trying to go for that.

slim the back out again, or make the front legs a little longer. something to make it look a bit less rollie pollie maybe stick it's chest out more? i dunno, an up slant not a down slant is what i'm getting at. and a little color back on the muzzle, in my opinion, if it can be done without taking away from the eyes, which are lovely btw.

I really like this design idea. The anyu has never been a very attractive pet, but I think this really improves it. The stripes around the feet with the different-colored wings were always awkward; the metal bands are a cool addition. XD<br />I think the eyes are creepy, though. That's my only issue with it. ^^;; Perhaps if the yellow didn't go entirely around the black part of the eye it wouldn't look quite as eerie... I dunno. XD;; Maybe it's just me.

I'll speak for myself but am fairly sure that others meant to say the same thing. When I said the paws are small I didn't mean "compared to a real life polar bear". I meant that they are too small for the Anyu. In proportion to the rest of it, they just don't look good. Since the Anyu is inspired by polar bears, one cannot just copy all things polar bear and transfer them onto the Anyu. It just doesn't work. Concessions have to be made.

Usually in these polls, I vote for the previous version. But this time it's different. Love the new look! The only thing I can see that I would change is the paws. They look a little small for the rest of the Anyu. Other than that, it's gorgeous!

maybe since there are so many concerns about the size of the paws...enlarge the paws so they're more Polar, and widen the 'cuff' on the ankles to be more like a bootlet sort of effect
I like this version more than the old one. However in the old one I did like the brown muzzle. I also agree that the bracelets at the front look a little chunky but overall I do love this version.

awesome, seriously... I love the redraw... my only think would be that I was preferring the paw of the present one... I mean they look too feminine and small on the redraw... but I will surely get an Anyu when the redraw is done...

I voted the new one I love it...I think it is very well done specially for a update and it looks more like a bear. But I do agree that it needs a tail. Other then that I cant say anything bad. Its making me want one and I just finished all my pets!

I had to vote old just based on the feet.. They look terribly small to me. Not much like bear feet. But it is an improvement.. Just a hard one to get used to because of the swirly junk that seems far too different from the original. I love the body but.. eh on everything else. Needs improvement.<br />

Yes, to be honest, Keith is right. I was trying to make it more polar bear-ish, and to me the feet look ok that size, but I guess there are quite a lot of people telling me otherwise!
