Hah, no wonder this site is getting more IP bans! Anyways, these guys really love Halloween, and I'm loving their H.W items.
Ad block them.
Then you won't even have to look.
User not found:
i haven't complained about all that other crap because they're not even creepy but these are just sick
well, you could say the same thing about the nightmare,or graveyard pets too,or any of the other items that are "too gory".if it bugs you so bad just ignore it.if it's a young kid, chances are they won't even know what it is anyway, and it's up to the parents if they want their children subjected to this.its just a pixel woopdy-doo
User not found:
because im getting really tired of going on my fav website and seeing all this gore
jkjonny - if it's so crap - why do you keep subjecting yourself to it?

Run away.
And do it quickly.

I have one word to say SCARY!!!!!!!

Oh shut up!! This stuff is total crap and you just won't admit it!
Well seeing how this is the Original Gothic version of those other sites...lol. I personally am a member of the others but I don't go any more except to take care of my babies and go. Here is where I spend all my time and money. Kudos to Keith and the Gang this place is great and everyone I infect with Subeta thinks so as well...lol. If you want cuties go to the and pet place or better yet P pet place they are nazi enforced cute. The choice as a user is not to buy or display the items that you don't approve of or like. So for goodness sake don't go to my Gallery Memorial of Wife in honor of my Truly departed....lol. But I for one cant wait to include the latest creations to her collection. Silver

Wow. People need to lighten up huh? You know how grown up this site it. Don't let the smaller kids play, if this kinda stuff offends you, or at least monitor them when their on. Simple, ain't it? Don't go complainin' to the site because of their work. It's free, it's their site. Don't like it? Leave.

They won't miss three or four users. I mean the comunity here on subeta is a wonderful community, and I love it. But there's no need to get so ticked about pixels, y'know?
Personally.
Staff, artists; My god. You've won me over. I'd ask you to marry me... But. ;3 I'm gladly taken.
Seriously. You have me one hundred percent with these items. This is why I love subeta. Honestly. ^__^-

Thank you, thank you. ;D Can't say it much more, or it would lose it's meanin' wouldn't it? Hehe.

So it's really easy to tell what the artist's favorite holidays are...

Why hello all you sick and perverted people!!! I can't believe some idiot would make up all this gross stuff!!!! Props for the people with BRAINS that know the difference between gore and halloween!! I'm so sick of all this gross gore and sex and stuff on subeta!!! I thought this was a PET WEBSITE, not a torture chamber or a brothel!!! So, all you gory people out there, go ahead and make fun of me, but this is the truth. Again, I'm glad SOME people here know whether or not something has gone OVER THE TOP!! I'm very POed about this crap!!

o.o

Aime would like one of those xD
cruel and unusual torture, get used to it.

These are really nice. I wish I could wear a few though. <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_grin.gif" border="0" />

If someone doesn't like the items, then ignore them. Or leave.
They are pixels on a pet site.
You complainers need to harden the love up.
ugh, guys. If you don't like them, don't buy them. Big deal.
User not found:
o.o... DO want. 8D
Um, these are kind of really sick items to have around. Violence and blood and gore are not cool, and they're not at all funny. I mean, sure, this is a more mature audience than most other pet sites, but there are other kids here, like my little sister and my friends' younger cousins and siblings. The fact that these items are similar to other devices used in the past does not cover up the fact that they were used for torture. Makes me sick to see people squeal in joy to see this kind of stuff.
Ohh, PLEASE. Don't start that 'cruelty' discussion again. Do you think kids don't know that in Middle Ages these were in common use? They know well. It's not some sick imagination. And a proper touch for an evil holiday.
...and a good idea for my Graveyard Paralixes Treasure Chest, indeed. :O
yeah wearable ;__; please please !!!
wearable, wearable, wearable! Please!

By the way.. this items reminds me of the movie Saw xD
Someone just pointed out that World of Warcraft is also 13+, and just look at that: killing monsters, people, etc. and full of weapons. Who cares? Things are rated 13+ for a reason: because 13 year olds and up can handle this kind of stuff. Subeta has the limit there, and they shouldn't have to change it or not put these items on because younger people might bypass the age restriction... that's like making an R rated movie and then taking out everything offensive because a kid might see it on DVD.

Kids are going to see offensive things. Kids are going to be exposed to violence, and sex (which really shouldn't even be complained about, I mean really, we all come from it so what's the big deal), and racism, etc. etc.

They are all going to grow up, and they are all going to have to face it eventually anyway. The age restriction is there to prevent much younger kids from seeing it.
I think that everyone getting worked up about a couple of items that aren't even wearable is dumb. Not only is it Halloween, but the age of consent is 13 years old, which I would like to remind everyone is 8th grade. When I was in 8th grade, Halloween was no longer a "scary" holiday and I was no longer in a "child-like mindset." I was writing daily, reading classics, and hanging out with friends who mature and intelligent like me.

Subeta is allowed to do whatever it wants and the fact that Keith and the other staff have the balls to release items like this makes me happy . . . because it makes this website UNIQUE and that's why I love it here. If you guys want to be treated like five year olds, go on Neo. If you want to be surrounded by intelligent, caring, and sophisticated people, then you can come on Subeta.

These items would not be released if it was not Halloween, but it IS Halloween. If they were wearable, I think that would be a little inappropriate, but they're NOT so let's all stop complaining.
User not found:
Seriously, someone needs to make these wearable! ;^;

...And now that I have 2 so far, into 'Kura's treasure they go~!!
chibi likes, chibi likes a LOT
I don't care about children. I myself am shocked about torturing devices. As said it's a game, no one has to play it.
The one thing I love about Subeta is that it's more mature and isn't afraid to include sex and violence to a reasonable degree. It's not like we can buy date rape drugs and there is no 'suprise sex' button on people's profiles( not THAT is sexual deviance) This site is 13+, so it shouldn't be a shock to anyone. It is up to the parents of the teenagers 13-18 to decide if it's okay. It's also no worse than world of warcraft, which is also 13+, I believe.
i agree

they are some kind of cruel
but please remember - movies like Saw, are not in all points and reasons free invented
there are really people like Jawkins in the realworld - and thats the thing you have to be scared of

and not about some painted items, pixelcreated, in an online-game with some other nice items like the Rot Powder (which is definitely seldom known)

therefore is no reason to complain about anything or someone
these are only items - nice painted, in some points cruel
but nothing thats interested in the reallife

(okay, and this text would be easier for me, if i were able to right in my mothertongue - but i hope everyone understands me =3)
Please tell me how many deaths a year we have via torture devices.

Then, tell me how many deaths we have with machine guns, revolvers and knives.
<img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" />
I, as an adult, I'm a little bit shocked. As I remember until now there have never been such things without a little funny or oh-so-tragic part in it, but these are just..cruel. But you are right. If we don't like what subeta does, we don't have to come here, period.
People are forgetting that Subeta is NOT Neopets.

The only truly upsetting thing is that the collar isn't wearable. How dare you make awesome items and not make them so. -sad- Saw is one of the best TP series out there. I've seen each in theaters and will be there when the 5th comes out. I'm a little sad though because there was supposed to be 8 total.

Anyways, back on topic. Awesome items. I will surely have to find all of them and collect at least 2 of each XD Sade's treasure chest needs some growing.
I freaking love these items. xP They remind me of when I was a kid. I was BIG into Goosebump books when I was ten or so, and some of these devices were detailed in a few of the books. I remember playing pretend in the back yard with jingle bracelets and necklaces, pretending they were the collars with spikes on both sides.

In fact, I think I was in the SECOND GRADE when we had to make a card showing all our fears. And I had stuff like, "Spiders, being smothered with a pillow, the rack, torture masks" etc.

What I'm trying to say is...this is no worse than Goosebumps, guys. xP And Goosebumps didn't warp me when I was a kid.
Mm.. Saw.~
I have yet to see anyone "whining" because of these items! Opinions have been stated, and that's all. I realize I sounded harsh, but I knew there would be responses like that of <a href="/users/nmagelet" id="userinfo_nmagelet_1"><img src="http://images.subeta.net/icons/user.gif" border="0">nmagelet</a><script type="text/javascript">toolTip('userinfo_nmagelet_1', '<center><img src="http://images.subeta.net/avatars/bot/branaslast.png"><br /><img src="http://images.subeta.net/icons/user.gif"><strong>nmagelet</strong><br />Member<br /><strong>Name</strong>: Charlotte<br /><strong>Posts:</strong>: 168<br /><br /><img src="http://images.subeta.net/medals/trophy_restock.gif" border="0" style="width: 25px; height: 25px" /><img src="http://images.subeta.net/medals/trophy_restock.gif" border="0" style="width: 25px; height: 25px" /><img src="http://images.subeta.net/medals/trophy_cards_copper.gif" border="0" style="width: 25px; height: 25px" /><img src="http://images.subeta.net/medals/goldaccount.gif" border="0" style="width: 25px; height: 25px" /><br /><img src="http://images.subeta.net/medals/beanbag_crystal.gif" border="0" style="width: 25px; height: 25px" /><img src="http://images.subeta.net/medals/plushie_platinum.gif" border="0" style="width: 25px; height: 25px" /><img src="http://images.subeta.net/medals/trophy_bubble_consecutive.gif" border="0" style="width: 25px; height: 25px" /><img src="http://images.subeta.net/medals/rswar_blackmoon.gif" border="0" style="width: 25px; height: 25px" /><br />', 'User Information');</script> and figured I ought to throw up the shield immediately.

Actually, we do have to view them. We have to view them as we stumble across them when checking the news, and if they become wearable then we'll have to stay clear of the forums as well, in fear of bumping into someone wearing these things.

No, there are no body parts, but there is blood, and we all have imaginations!

That the sexual items like the Kinkylove series were not as heavily debated I can only regret. I didn’t get involved back then although I remember that I got a little shocked. But I think there is a difference between consensual bondage and cruel and unusual torture.
They would be interesting wearable lol
<b>Quote:</b><blockquote style="padding:5px; line-height:15px; background-color: #FAFFFF; border: 1px solid #000000; font-family: georgia; font-size: 10;">I personally despise the Saw movies for being pretty sick and pointless and the fact that it has 5 movies but these items doesn't faze me at all. xD It's not like there's bloody detailed body parts in the traps. Just some blood.</blockquote>

I'm to afraid to watch any of the Saw movies (the concept is interesting to me, but I'm NOT a blood and guts fan by any means). These are like a fun version of all that scary stuff, but not so detailed that they'll give me nightmares or anything =D
These items remind me of the movie Timber Falls. >w>;
I've only obtained one, the collar. I want them all, for when they -hopefully- become wearable in the future.
AMAZING! Great job artists, oh to be able to wear these <3
Complainers, get over it. I don't like the rainbows and foofy shit on here but I don't bitch and whine everytime something is released. You simply don't buy it, problem solved.
WHOMG. !LOVE Please let atleast one of them be wearable xD
woah hey, why aren't they wearable? lol, I want these for my avatar, that'd be sweet

So these items are unsuitable for children...but this one is okay:

<label id="item_Rainbow_Herb_Shield_1" onMouseOver='showPlus("1149")' onBlur='byebyePlus("1149")'><img id="image_item_Rainbow_Herb_Shield_1" src="http://images.subeta.net/items/petesshield.gif" class="non_wishlist" style=""/></label><span class="wl_add" id="plus_1149"><a name="item_Rainbow_Herb_Shield_1" href="#item_Rainbow_Herb_Shield_1" id="wishlistadd_1149" onClick='addWishList("Rainbow+Herb+Shield",1149,"item_Rainbow_Herb_Shield_1")'><img src=http://images.subeta.net/add.png border=0></a></span><script type="text/javascript">toolTip('item_Rainbow_Herb_Shield_1', '<strong>Rarity</strong>: <span style="color: #263037">Super Rare</span><br /><strong>Description</strong>: This shield has protection and Happiness all in one!<br /><strong>Official Price</strong>: 8,064<br /><strong>Average Price Today</strong>: 67,996<br /><strong>Overall Average Price</strong>: 54,651', 'Rainbow Herb Shield');</script>
I agree. If you don't like these items, then don't buy them. Most people love them. I think they're awesome! Definitely something that wouldn't be found on Neopets, which is why Subeta is so much better. And plus, Subeta is a 13+ site, so there is no reason why stuff like this can't be made. People do seem to forget that this is a 13+ site. And again, if you have a problem with these items, then you don't have to see them or buy them. If they still bother you that much then you can just leave Subeta. Most people who commented said they loved these items, so there is no reason why more items like these can't be released. I would love to see more of these types of items and it would be even cooler if these were made wearable. I know many users would love to put these on their human avatars. AGAIN if you have a problem with these then please do not whine about it. Just don't look at them and pretend they aren't there because people who keep saying how awful or wrong these items are just dampen the moods of those who are excited by the arrival of such wonderful looking items. <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_grin.gif" border="0" /> Congrats to the artists!
riminds me of the 13th ghost and strangeland
btw i thought we all came on this site to get away from reality and to pritend if you dont like it go someware else
This is why Subeta is awesome. ;D
There's a huge riot for roadkill, but only a few people think this is in bad taste? xD I don't think this is in bad taste, this is only an item on a pet site and I think it looks kinda cool. <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_raspberry.gif" border="0" />

I personally despise the Saw movies for being pretty sick and pointless and the fact that it has 5 movies but these items doesn't faze me at all. xD It's not like there's bloody detailed body parts in the traps. Just some blood. c: I think some of these could fit into one of my pets' treasure... ponders Nice job artists. x3

sigh prays these become wearable tomorrow.
Rude...truthful...either way. I never said anyone was yelling at the staff. People complain about every little thing on Subeta. There's a difference between not liking an item and wanting to change the entire site (re: raising the age limit) just because of a few items. I don't find it rude to state my opinion in a forward manner, but if I offended you, I am sorry. That's certainly not what I intended. I just find it a tad ridiculous to get so worked up over what is, essentially, a picture (or group of pictures) that no one HAS to view. Items which, let's be honest, in the grand scheme of things are nowhere near as ...dramatic...as what children (presumably the group to be 'protected') are no doubt watching on TV. Or perhaps even committing, right now, in some video game. It's not Subeta's job to watch out for what children do and do not see on the internet.
Nmagelet, I think your post was rather rude. I didn't see anyone screaming at Staff to remove the items, change them, or being rude to staff/others.

Judin was very mature in his post and already said he was going to just ignore the items from here on out. He has every right to say he doesn't necessarily agree with some of the new items being released, just as you have every right to love them, without being criticized for his views. After all, just because someone may like blood and guts doesn't mean everyone has to.

As for the items themselves, I love them. I've always liked the torture devices and did a research project on them once. These are bringing up so many memories of rubberband-and-toothpick torture wheels.
