Something is different here... Oh! Right, welcome to the new Subeta! We have worked very hard over the past few months to create a new layout that is easier for everyone to browse.
Here are some of the biggest changes that we've made with the new layout:
- The layout is now fluid in width, which means that it will resize itself depending on the size of your browser window. This lets us make things around the site fit the entire screen, and not feel so cramped.
- Widgets! These are the boxes on the left side of your screen. You can change the ones that are shown here. There are some really cool ones like showing your friend feed, the amount of quests you've done for the day, and more! They can also be dragged and moved around the sidebar, or hidden.
- Dashboard / Events: The dashboard is where the widgets live, and the events pane is where your events will live! You can change your preferences here, to how you would like the dashboard to act. We suggest setting it to smart so that you are notified when you have new events!
- Dropdowns, which means that we don't have to use up the entire sidebar for the navigation. We've reorginized the links to make a little more sense, and allow you to move around the site easier.
You may have noticed that your CustomCSS and your Pet Profiles have been cleared. They generally aren't compatible with the new layout, but we did save your coding and you can find it here! Feel free to copy it and paste it back into your CustomCSS/Pet Profiles, just be warned that everything might not work the same!
You can leave your feedback for the new layout here. We will be making changes to the new layout as we see problems (or things that should be changed).

I think the new layout makes the site look more cramped instead of less. :

I agree with Zawmbee, the pet profiles are pretty disappointing... And I was just about to be severely po'd at the loss of my writing. I have a horrible, years-old case of writer's block so whatever I do manage to eek out is pretty precious to me. I thought it was really jerky of you guys to just delete it like that... But then I found that link to the oldcss, and it was a happy, considerate ending afterall. XD -gratitude-
The rest of the site is amazing once I got used to it, I LOVE it, although some screen resolutions might not be so compatible as mine is. I'm having too much fun with these widgets and am loving the return of an organized navigation system... Still, the pet profiles could use some major work. x_o

My computer is extremely slow thanks to this train wreck of a site layout. I hate the way it's coloured and spaced, plus now there's a giant image at the top of my screen. The Darkmatter Kumos really peeved me, but this is the last straw.

I paid 400k for the code to make them all nice,
and it was a total waste because it doesn't work on this.
And I think it looks crowded and sloppy now.

It's going to take me some time to get a feel for the new layout, but I'm sure I'll like it once I get the hang of it.
i like how pretty the new layout is, and the old navigation widget was a smart move (I'll still use that lol)
the only thing I would suggest is making the pages load faster, alot of people have slow computers and even oon mine it takes awhile :/
and editing the hompage, it looks cut off.
plus i would like to see some custom css soon, right now the layout looks kind of pet-site generic.

Hate it. Seriously, why'd you change? We can't even change the layout anymore, and now I'm stuck with Vesnali. I like bloodred. And it takes longer to load. Also, when you scroll to far, it just disappears into black nothingness.

I really like it, it's just gonna take a while to get my head around it and get used to the navigation. >_< Loads just fine for me, but I guess my internet is too fast to notice the difference some people have now.

So CONFUSING! The colors make my head hurt.
The new layout is very beautiful and does flow wonderfully. However, the site now runs irritatingly slow for me. I have a broadband connection and the old layout gave me no problems whatsoever. But now, even typing this message is taking painfully long.

I did not like the site was much slower, and although the navigation is no longer a mystery to me, I'm having trouble with the quest for the Wizard have delayed three times as long as I could before. I think I could leave a second option, how can the old profile as a profile pattern for those who prefer the old profile, like me, and that new for those who want change and they liked the new profile.

To all of the people complaining about the drop-downs. THE OLD NAVIGATION IS STILL ON OPTION. Just add the NAVIGATION WIDGET to your DASHBOARD.

This is beautiful and i can tell a lot of hard work went into this.
personally i would like the option of the old layout as i prefer it to this one as im not a fan of the drop down toolbar.
reading people`s comments i think it would be cool if you did get the old option in too as well as this one as i think although people appreciate your work some people would like the old one back.

i like the old layout with all the buttons right there where i can see them much better. i don't like having to search for stuff i do everyday before i head out the door.

Well, seeing as how I JUST found out the the News link was highlighted or something on the old layout when there was a new news post, I'm not really missing that feature? But I do have a few suggestions. For one, it is extremely laggy. Takes quite a bit for each page to even begin loading x.x And I have a high-speed internet connection.
I don't like the drop-down menus, but then again, I never have, since I use my tablet to navigate and I often keep accidently going over a menu which decides to take a while to go away after I take my cursor away from it.
It also appears REALLY clunky to me.
And about the pet profiles, I am glad you saved them, but it is going to take FOREVER to fix them due to all the stupid symbols instead of brackets and quotes and all that jargon.. I wish you could have preserved those better because now it is going to take really long to fix ALL my LONG scrolling pet profiles. It's been over 20 minutes since I started on one and I'm not even halfway through it yet. has 18 pets x______X Or just you could have not taken them off on the first place. Eck.

I'm so glad I don't work at Subeta. I'd hate to have so many of the user base shitting all over something I'd put a great deal of time and effort into.
