The master spirit lays defeated, with the final blow dealt by Emrys, and the curse of Kiyo’s Sorrow is beginning to lift, thanks to the brave battlers and crafters that took up this monumental challenge, however something unexpected has happened! It seems that with the spirit gone, not only has the sudden inclement weather cleared, but a new land has been revealed in the South Seas. We now go to our Channel 5 Field Reporting, live on site:
“Er yes, hello Titania. I’ve made it to the emerald hills of the new land and have spoken to some of the locals. They say the land is called Shengui Guo, a land of spirits and the otherworldly, and that is has been shrouded by spirit energy for some time.
No one has come and gone from this isolated island nation for centuries, the streets and markets are almost bare, but the mood among the few locals I spoke to is celebratory. Perhaps, with time, the markets will fill again with the chatter of vendors and crowds.â€
You heard it here first: the threat of rampaging spirits has come to an end, and a new land has been revealed. What mysteries and adventures await in this new land? Only time will tell.
(You decide to visit Connor for possibly the last time.)

OK, I took a break and she's defeated..did not expect it for another hour, but alls well that ends well I suppose! A new land!! Can't wait to see if I get any prizes :D
sigh I knew this plot was just a way to introduce a new land, pet, or color, but did it have to feel so rushed? Why did people change color?
Once again, the art blows me away. Also... now I feel nostalgic and I shall go Guild Wars it up for a while.... happy sigh

So the spirits are now at peace because we fought them for being angry at being forgotten? o: Well I'm glad all it took was a little brawl
I loved all of the facets to this plot, personally. It felt varied, with different types of tasks, and the games were solid (and at what I thought was a good difficulty level to muddle through at just enough to pass, but still fun to play afterwards for the achievements!), and the art... GORGEOUS.
Can't wait to explore this new island! It's exciting to see a new land pop up!

I just want to add, in addition to "like Binder said, Shen = Deity, Gui = Ghost, Guo = Country. It's chinese.", "shengui" is a pretty popular genre in Chinese novels/games, themed to ancient china and involving supernatural characters and elements.

I actually saw Shengui Guo on the map of Subeta, before the news appeared and I thought it would be the ending, a new land. It's quite nice :)

Come on, that's the most mainstream idea about China and this is a way to introduce more of the eastern asia culture into Subeta.

I was kind of hoping the new land would be more mystical-looking. ;o; But it is quite pretty, I must say. The fact it looks like a lion turtle on the world map gives me a feeling that no word in existence can describe. It is a happy feeling, though...so, so happy.
Also, I hope that wasn't the end of Kiyo.

Shengui Guo no where is clickable yet. II'll miss Connor. It is good to have a person who is challenged in his case his speech.

The event was pretty fun, I enjoyed all the mini games and battling plenty.
Also, that new place with the strong Zhongguo influence and the turle looks amazing! (and that legeica keeping an eye out for it, sobbus)
