These pieces were particularly fine, ye see, so I was jus' cuddlin' up t'em whilst takin’ me nap in th' brig. I didn’€™t pilfer ‘€˜em! I’€™m an honest pirate, me.
So anyways ​*hic*​, t' make it up t' th' crew I was tasked wit' gettin' a good price fer these wares, so’€™s I sold ‘em t' th' Cash Shop! Well…some o' them ​*hic*​. Thin' be, I met an upstandin' terracoon on th' way in, 'n well, he challenged me t' a few games o’€™dice. Bein' quite partial t' th' game, I thought I’d beat 'im no worries, 'n did on th' first two tries! But aft that it seems he might nah 'ave been as upstandin' as I thought.
So ye can find TWO beautiful sets o’ €™merchandise in th' Cash Shop. One be a set we pilfered…uh, found in Shengui Guo! Wonderful helpful citizens thar ​*hic*​. Mighty givin'. The other be a might pretty set from the people of Saherimos. Aft that, well, ye better go speak t' that terracoon, if ye can find 'im. He was wearin' a large tan coat 'n a flat cap, wit' a large golden necklace wit' th' initial “Hâ€. ​*hic*​ Maybe ye’ll 'ave more luck than I!
Translation: Good day, people of Subeta. I've been asked to appear before you to let you know of an excellent set of items I'd been holding back - saving the best until last, and all that!
I was asked by my fine colleagues to get the best price for these high quality wares, so I got together with the fine people at the Cash Shop to make a deal that would benefit both parties. Except, well, I felt it would be unwise to sell ALL of our stock to the Cash Shop, and when an upstanding gentle terracoon approached me with a secondary deal, I thought we could have the best of both worlds! I was doing this for you fine people, but unfortunately I was taken advantage of. The terracoon swindled me out of my product through absolutely no fault of my own!
So right now, you can find TWO of our beautiful new sets of merchandise in the Cash Shop. One is a set found in Shengui Guo - wonderful and helpful citizens there! Very giving. The other is a beautiful Saherimos based set. The other three sets, well. You'll have to try speaking to that terracoon to see if you can get them back. He was wearing a large tan coat and a flat cap, with a large golden necklace with the initial "H". Good luck to you, friend!
Note: Full disclosure, this is a scavenger hunt that will run for 2 weeks. After such time, the items that are found in the scavenger hunt will be made available to purchase in some way in case you need extras for TCs and the like! The two Cash Shop sets are NOT part of the scavenger hunt, you are not required to purchase them.

sigh just when subeta does something cool and releases something all at once, they go and make it so that people who do their dailies have to wait a day to finish -.-
That said, I don't want to sound ungrateful or grumpy (bc I'm not, really, just a bit exasperated!):

O boy stuck on needing to complete a quest when... I did all mine today. 8/
P.S. I didn't even get any directions to this NPC I had to go digging on the forums for help bc no message ever triggered after finding the map piece, and no message triggered from the very first NPC bc I had already done that one today, too.

That moment when you realize that you have read both the original text an the translation three times, and still don't know what is going on. 0.o
Thank goodness for helpful people on the forums. (Seriously, just ask them when you inevitably get stuck, they are a LIFESAVER.) The quest triggers are finnicky, nonsensical, and completely allergic to logic, and disappear irretrievably if you miss them. Which becomes more common as NPCs forget whether or not they should show you a grey box when they have something important to say or not, or bury the lead with a red herring just to punish you for taking what they tell you at face value. This entire ordeal has been an exercise in frustration, start to finish. After this can we please not, Subeta? Can we please not?
This is really great. The clothes look fantastic, but I especially like the way the map pieces look. Can't wait until tomorrow to finish it.
Minor complaint: Vanya or someone told me the Hustler went somewhere warmer, and I'm having trouble finding where to go next. I went back to Vanya to check the wording of the clue, but it won't let me see it again. It would be nice if the clues would stick around until you solved them and triggered the next step, because it sucks being stuck in limbo like this.
This is a lot of fun!!..... when you can actually do all the steps! Could we please get a Quentin Quest reset? Pretty please??? :)
Doing this on a phone sucks but it's fun. Stuck on Blake because I can't get past the first page most of the time, ahaha

Sorry to write this twice, BUT do I have to buy something from this well-known Terracoon in order to talk to him and get this whole thing started? Or did I miss something somewhere? I'm completely lost :/

You have to have a cadogre or endeavor pet to "prove your loyalty" to Blackmoon. After that he points you to Arctic Frost. The next piece is in the Ice Fields BUT it won't appear until you visit the snowtapult to get a clue for it. Because that makes tons of sense. Then a vague hint points you to Vanya the toymaker. He tells you to visit his daughter but I have no idea who that is, and he doesn't seem to have an entry in the subetapedia...
Siiigh... now I'm locked behind a quest I've already completed for the day. I guess I'll finish tomorrow.
This makes no sense! The first piece of the Shadowglen map says to check Pina Park and the Ziara Zoo but where is the Ziara Zoo?? sigh
I just went to blackmoon with a Cadogre Plushie in my inventory and he's happy with that. You don't need to change a pet. :D
Just so you all know, you don't need to change your pet into an endeavor or a cadogre. Just have an item that looks like them. I had a cadogre hat and it worked!
