Get your dancing shoes ready because the Annual Masquerade Ball has started and will be a non-stop party until 11:59pm on April 5th. The Masquerade Forum will be open until 11:59pm on April 6th.
Don’t forget — you can use the dance sCode in your status and elsewhere!

Migrating Masks is once again open and ready to arm you with a mask. Remember you need a mask of some sort to be able to participate in the event!
Any item, no matter what rarity, with the word ‘mask’ in the name will work for dancing.
The Concierge at Steamworks Menagerie has been very busy! Not only are there new items for this year, but she’s also brought back items from 2010, 2011, and 2012! The Libertine Lounge is the perfect place to hang out between dances and regain your enegery with delicious foods and drinks.
This is the first wave of items for both shops! There will be more than just clothing in the second wave for the Steamworks Menagerie, too!
Keep an eye out for Boudewijn while you dance. If you manage to win a duel with him, he’ll give you a bag of trinkets. He won’t actually kill you in a duel, so no worries there!

Ok... so I've been to the ballroom about 500 - 750 times and have only got 3 invitations from Boudewin (sp) . They were all in the same day and I lost all three battles. What's up with that????
So I've never really paid much attention to Boudewijn - does he only appear when you accept dances (and go to the dance floor) or can he appear when someone else accepts a dance from you?
i really love this event, but every year is the same, migr. mask shop u have to wait untill 1 hours or more till next restock, or shop is empty after few seconds, what u put inside?? 1 mask for 1000 users? remember the holiday shop, it was the same... u know self; if a new event start is not cool to put small items for so many users in shop, so or so we get, so why frust the users? we all want fun and not waist our time in shop with refresh... ;) ..

Pretty sure the Masquerade event is my favorite when it comes to items in the shop. They're always so spiffy and I want everything.

I LOVE THE ITEMS!! All of them! Especially the foxes and cats! So excited to get them all! And I love the dresses! And the boots! and everything else!

Very glad the event has begun, but is it just me or is anyone else having a bunch of errors when trying to dance and accept dances? I've literally only gotten to dance twice since the event began...
Day hasn't reset, and the only notifs that seem to be working are the ones for the dancing. The timer for games is currently "refresh and see if you can play it again yet".

Usually when they add or retire from the shops things vend from, there will be an announcement.
I just tried 250 times from Blue Moon and - no masks...Is it not working yet? (I did get a Fat Cat collection item, though, so still a good haul!)

i am unable to accept dances have over 20 in the events but each time i try to accept it says i have no invites...could someone tell me why or that they will be there after a FIX ??? thanks

Okay. I've been able to ask one person maybe 3 dances and after each dance it's telling me my feet are tired. This is ridiculous. Please fix it so that it doesn't happen after every dance. This will take freaking forever.

@PrincessJudith Add any item on site with the word ‘mask’ in it to your wardrobe and make sure to add it to your HA. For example, I’m using the Black Domino Mask (which is very cheap in user shops).

LOVE the new items this year !! especially the wearable dogs/foxes/cats, but the clothes are great, too. Really outdid yourself on the new ladies dresses...Thank you for such nice stuff !!!

YEESSSS!!!! SO many pretty new items but those DOGS are the BEST!!! The cats and foxes too!! But especially the puppies! I have a miniature pinscher/jack russell terrier mutt so I absolutely need those three. Who am I kidding, I need them ALL! Ahh they're so beautiful! ;;v;;

dancing links break for me i get a little mini version of the website stretched out in that space like they're invalid links but it breaks and refreshes before i can tell if its saying i dont have a mask or just invalid links, all i know is its super frustrating trying to do claim threads :x

There's some major bug in the forums, I'm not seeing usernames, and when I click on the dance button nothing happens, then when I click again it says I have to wait??

@Lia Because they were lagging the shop up in previous years because the shop would load ALL the items at once. Now it goes by tab. :)

@ShesUniique If you find masks like that, shoot me a comment. I'll fix those later (they need to be tagged). All masks aren't working right now becuase they're hooked to the old wardrobe rather than new for the code for the masquerade.
i know things are being fixed but what about Cruel Fandango, it doesn't the word mask in it but it's defiantly a mask
