i wished the time had decreased near the end of the event like all the previous years. would have given more chances to ppl who still want to get their borders but at least ppl can get it next year.
No steamwork border for me either, even after having a timer calling me every 15 minutes to make sure I danced all I could; but we have next year! Good luck to us then~

I just came to mention that the timers didn’t get reduced, but I see some others have mentioned it as well. I was hoping to get some last minute dances in, but I can’t because I’ve been having long wait times for this last hour ._.
Like some of the others I've come to this post to see why we didn't get the shorter dance times?? =/ There's only 30 minutes left and the timer has been long ones all day. :(
This is just like lurking in section 1 of the Pumpkin Patch trying to find THE minion for days and days AND DAYS ..... come on, Steamwork border - SHOW YOURSELF!

I'm absolutely grateful for the extension but dear gods I am so sick of trying for that steampunk border -_-;;
seriously grateful for that extension - i wasn't able to get the steamwork border until late last night, and that was after trying at every opportunity i could! (thankyou subeta team!)

The Steamwork border continues to elude me. Good thing I prefer the Rave border, which I already have, but I'm such a completionist...

@starfish I've gotten him like 8 times, won and lost and equal number of times. You probably already know this but it always happens (I think) when accepting a dance from another person and then viewing the dance floor- some people skip going to the ballroom and that won't let him attempt to cut in.
So to get the regular one, do you have to dance with the same person over and over?? or why am i not getting it?

You can get them during the current Masquerade event! :D Your avatar needs to be wearing any item with the word "mask" in it to participate, though.
The Dancing Steamwork Style boarder is obtained by dancing with other users via the Mystery Dance option, which you can use every 15 minutes.
The Dancing Rave Style boarder is obtained by dancing with & accepting dances from other users by their dance links. (which is separate from the mystery dances.) You can dance roughly every 5~10 minutes.
After equipping a mask, you can find lots of people to dance with on that news post by clicking their "Dance with USER" buttons, you can browse the Atebus Revolution Masquerade forum, & there's even a thread there that you can use called "The "I simply must have that Rave border!" help thread" where you can ask other users for help getting it! If you reply to that thread, your dance button will automatically show up under your avatar or you can also add your dance button to your post yourself (or anywhere on the site) by using this bit of code:

I managed to unlock the one border quickly but no idea how to use it and am working on the 2nd one. Glad to hear that we can try again for the achievements next year.

I do love the borders. Thankfully I got them both on the first day, and really don't need any more dances (have over 20K of each trinket), but I don't mind helping others get them if I can. <3
I'm blown away by this good news, and deeply appreciative!! I'm graduating this semester and my academics took over my life during most of this event. This extension is just perfect!
Thank you. My dad is in surgery today and I wasnt sure I'd be able to do much today. This is a wonderful distraction while waiting to hear back how it went.

I hope I can get the Steamwork border (that RNG hasn't let me have it yet) but at least I've been assured that I'll still be able to get it next year.

@Ziorac a lot of people are having trouble getting the steamwork border. I got the rave border hours after it dropped, but I got the steamwork one last night. You've been luckier than most! Plus, I hate it when events end on a weekday, as I like to do extra dances/flowers/kisses/tots on the final day of a holiday when things speed up a bit. It's hard to do that from work :)

It's mostly being extended because of the issues we had at the start of the event! I just mentioned the borders to remind people how cool they are.

Thank you so much! April did seem incredibly fast to me, too, Amber. I'm finishing up a lot of work today that I should've got to last week because of that. I don't know why, do you? California's still pretty locked down, so it's not the 'fly be free!' thing I know some people are getting.
Shoutout to everyone who got their shots in April! If you haven't yet, they're working on the distribution chains. I got mine in February because I work in a hospital, but the sooner we all get them, the sooner we can get back to things we all miss doing!

I have a couple dumb questions.. how do I know if/when I get these, also where do I see and or change it? Is that a thing? I havent been around much and these are a new thing to me.
Didn't Keith say that the borders have a high 'drop rate' so to speak,, so there would be no reason to worry not being able to get it depite the mystery dance timer being lengthened? -whistles innocently-

I mean...we did get around, if not an actual, full day of shortened times at the beginning of Masq when the timers were broke.
