Story

Story notes:

- (Teba's story starts here with the recap) Now both boys are determined to leave the city, but want to prepare for what's out there. So they decide to steal weapons from the Mil Center during a sale.

- They pull off the heist and escape before capture, but Elfric, Hanji and Haluk also happen to be in the city and see the commotion and give chase. Unwittingly, they get the boys sent back to the research facility. Elfric and Hanji feel guilty, having listened to the boys recount the horrors of the research facility. And they decide to break them out.

- Elfric's mom works at the facility, as a blue coat researcher. She knows the horrible treatment of the animals there, and is recording all she can to whistle blow them when the time is right. She scribes the layout of the facility and where the boys should be. Elfric knows it's a risk if anyone were to find out he belonged to his mom, but he has to make it right by the boys.

- The next day, while Teba is hooked up to a machine and Sven is locked in a cage nearby, Elfric breaks through a window and knocks out a worker. Hanji grabs their key card and releases all the animals, including Sven. They take the boys out of the city and away to their fort ruins.

- Elfric and Hanji will train the boys to be soldiers, and keep them safe. The boys agree to the lifestyle.
