Physical Description: Rafe is 6'4 and all lean muscle. He has a handsome and almost aristocratic face. His hair is jet black and exceptionally wavy, and it falls a little past his shoulders, though it is almost always tied back into a half-assed, messy ponytail. He has black eyes and pasty pale skin, which looks even paler against his dark hair and eyes.

Rafe usually wears dark colors and his clothes are almost always on extremes of the spectrum from either extremely formal or extremely frumpy. (Though he tends towards extremely frumpy almost all of the time.)

Personality: Rafe's personality has undergone several transformations through his lifetime. The first major transformation occurred after the deaths of his wife and daughter and the rest of his clan. Before that, he was serious, but cheerful and playful too. Afterwards, he was cold and bitter and full of rage and hate.

That sort of thing can be sustained for so long, though, and when it finally burned out, he hid his pain and loneliness under a distant and formal facade.

Now he is still rather bitter and burned out, but starting to recover. The first thing to recover was his attitude, and he tends to be snarky as hell and a bit of a jerk. His friend Hidalgo describes him as 'the best kind of douchebag' and wants to be like him.
Likes: Bats, music, anything that will entertain him.
Dislikes: Vampire hunters, useless fledgling vampires, smart-asses who can't back up their attitude with action.
History: Rafe is the son of the King Vampire, Silas Firion, and a vampire named Kiesha, who once was the leader of a clan of vampires located in what is now Germany. For most of his life he did not know his father, but soon after they met, he helped Silas with a coup of a small country, which Silas then ruled over for quite a while.

Rafe stayed for a while, working as an "Enforcer" (something like a cop, except with more power and less rules), but he grew tired of the work and went off to do his own thing.

A clan formed around Rafe while he lived in what has become England. He married the vampire Irene and the two had a daughter named Fray. Rafe lived with his clan for 300 years, until a group of experienced vampire hunters intervened. They captured Rafe and slaughtered his clan.

After that, little is known of Rafe's actions or whereabouts except for rumors of a monster which would slaughter whole villages to lure hunters, and then slaughter the hunters as well.

Silas eventually retrieved Rafe and got him back into shape.

Rafe returned to England sometime during Queen Victoria's reign and joined a clan there. He adopted an unwanted, half-vampire girl, whom he named after the Queen. She has remained with him ever since and the two have a relationship that is like father/daughter or older brother/younger sister (sometimes it's hard to tell with them).

As a dhampir, Victoria is able to withstand sunlight and other things that vampires cannot handle, so she is his dayguard and general assistant.

The two have recently moved to New York, and there he met the douchiest human he's ever come across and fell absolutely in love with him. Now, they're planning on shaking up the vampire community in New York for kicks.
