As a newborn, Eshado received the absolute minimum care needed to survive. Throughout his entire life, his parents were more concerned with their jobs and social lives rather than their unwanted son. Even at the most crucial points of development, infancy and his earlier years, the two important figures in his life were absent. An inattentive nanny was hired to care for the boy although she only performed the necessities such as feeding, diaper changing, and teaching. Although she was the only form of contact offered to Eshado, the woman never made an effort to interact with him unless she had to. Once her services were no longer required and the boy reached an age where he could take care of himself, his parents fired the nanny and left their son at home by himself while they worked through the day and attended parties at night. Utterly alone, Shado spent his days exploring the house, often hurting himself by accident due to a lack of experience. With no one to smack his hand away, he could only discover the dangers of the house first hand and learn from his mistakes. It wasn't long before he discovered the television and once he did, most of his time was spent in front of the screen. Not only was did it teach him of the wonders outside of the house, but it also caused a strong interest in people to develop inside the boy. He yearned for the attention of his parents, whom he barely knew existed. No matter how hard he searched they were no where to be found. Finally when he was old enough to start school, his mother took enough time out of her daily schedule to take the boy to his first day of class.

Being thrust into a new environment was an extreme shock for Eshado, after all he had never left the confines of the house for a single day of his life. Although he had watched other people through the television, the poor child had never encountered so many around him at once. He instantly distanced himself from the others, terrified as to how he should approach them. It only took a day for the strange boy to attract the stares of his fellow students. Noticing their curious looks, he would become extremely self conscious. He could barely act around others at all, afraid that he would make a mistake of some sort and the children would laugh. With no one to talk to or any sort of outlet for these intense bouts of fear and anxiety, Eshado's condition only worsened throughout his life. At school he avoided any type of contact, always sitting in the back of the class or by himself at lunch. The few who tried to talk to him only made him even more uncomfortable. Mind wiped of all thoughts and body tense, Eshado would hurry away from the person without a word. Despite his fear of people, he never lost his interest in them. Eager to join them, yet too afraid of being judged, Eshado was never quite happy until he discovered his medium in the form of an old camera hidden away in the attic. Once he figured out the workings of the device, he started to use it to take photographs of people from afar. Watching people through the lens was enough for him to handle, although never drawing too near. His subjects were normal folk, people going through the normal routine of their lives, unaware of the snapshots being taken of them. When he ran out of film, he would sketch pictures of interesting scenery or quick profiles of people. Although these hobbies helped him cope with his fears, he still couldn't overcome the anxiety that struck him when too close to others.

High school only made things more troublesome. Staying in the back of one class room through the day wasn't too difficult, but the shifting pace of high school wracked his nerves almost to a point of breaking. Despite how smart he is, some of his grades slipped because of a lack of class participation and a refusal to complete oral assignments. He couldn't always sit in the back and if he did, people were much too close for his liking. Because of his noticeable terror, some students started to pick on the boy for their own amusement. The first time this happened, a group of older boys forced Eshado into a corner, surrounding him with no possibility of escape. They asked him questions, pointing out how weird he was, and a few even started to shove the distraught teenager. Only seconds into the torment, Shado suffered from a severe panic attack. Thankfully a passing teacher noticed the gathering of students and came to the boy's aid. After that day he started to skip school and rarely attends class. As of yet his parents haven't been contacted, but they are bound to be informed eventually. Instead of spending his days with frayed nerves, Eshado now wanders through the city, trying his best to stay unnoticed. He often frequents a small graveyard not too far from his house. It may sound strange, but the dead are the only sort of people that he is at ease around. Even though they can't offer much company, the teen is content just relaxing among the graves, sketching away the day.

Social anxiety aside, Eshado is a compassionate kid with a kind heart, although no one has ever had the chance to look beyond his timid exterior to see this. He has an excellent eye for photography with his drawing skills coming next. A skill of any great photographer, Eshado is also extremely attentive, he notices things that most would overlook without a second thought. This often benefits him when snapping shots of people who are out of the ordinary or up to something they shouldn't be. Because he lacks any sort of companionship except for the bones and rotting corpses beneath the graveyard, Shado has developed a tendency to talk to himself, or rather out loud. When at the cemetery, he chatters away to the residents of the coffins but makes sure to keep his voice down in case someone passes by the graveyard. His timid nature carries over into most aspects of his life even if he is positive no one is looking. Generally, he is wary about trying new things and often sticks to old habits. Although he loves the graveyard, the boy has an irrational fear of the dark and always keeps a flashlight or lantern handy. Often he will be seen with a pair of headphones on his head, a tattered satchel slung across his chest, and most important his trusty camera hanging from his neck.
