Have you ever been to that place, just south of heaven, somewhere above the clouds? That is where Maika was born. No one can really explain how she came into existence; some say she was born when two rainbows collided with a falling star, others say she is the manifestation of many concentrated rainbows that adopted a living shape, and few believe that she is merely a myth spun by those who claimed to have seen her. Even Maika herself does not know exactly how she was born; all she remembers is waking up one day and realizing she was alive.

Today, Maika thinks of herself as "The Rainbow Maker" that lives in the clouds, and considers it one of her duties to create beautiful rainbows when she finds herself in those sparkling places between the sun and rain. Even though she cannot explain why, she finds it fulfilling to make rainbows for the world below her to see. Maika bounds from cloud to cloud, leaving Spectrum Matters in her wake; one such Spectrum Matter has remained her faithful companion since as long as she can remember.
So make sure you keep your eyes open when the sun peeks through the clouds after a rain storm. Maybe if you're lucky, you'll see Maika gliding along one of her rainbows before disappearing into the hazy clouds in the distance.
