History
A rare genetic disease has begun to surface in the population, sending the world into a frantic state of trying to find a solution to this contagious disease. Those who have been screened and found to have the mutated gene are quarantined outside city limits but because of the utter disarray of the government there isn't enough funding to put enough security in place at the border so those infected often gain entrance into the main parts of the city. These outcasts are beyond desperate for any sort of means for survival and attacks on regular citizens are very common. Pro's family was attacked by a group of these outcasts when he was 10 and his parents and two older siblings were killed before Pro was able to fight them off. He was infected but CureAll, having seen the attack on their monitors, saw potential in Pro. They recruited him into their company with the promise of getting revenge on those who had killed his family. They brainwashed and trained him to be an assassin, using him to kill targets (people) who were acting against CureAll.

More about CureAll: CureAll provides one of the only sources of clean water, fresh food and medications for the city, as well as having the only preventative measure for the genetic disease. Their scientists discovered the mutated gene early on but kept it to themselves in order to monopolize on the cure and impending breakdown of the city. However, there is a counter group working against CureAll trying to provide those in need with cheaper and alternative solutions, their main objective being trying to develop a more affordable and effective treatment. People in this counter group are a main target for CureAll to eliminate.

More about the disease: Even though it is a genetic disease it is still able to be passed through contact with an infected person and the disease can still be spread even if a person with the mutated gene isn't showing physical signs of the disease. If someone has the CureAll shot, their chances of recovery are higher but if they are in the third week the survival rate drops to 50% and they can die in a couple weeks. If they are in the forth week survival rate drops to 8% and can die in a matter of days. The most obvious sign of the disease is a rash that spreads up from the hands, feet and shoulders and while it doesn't directly affect a persons' mental state, their desperation for a means to survive while outcasted can lead to violent behavior.

More about the CureShot: CureAll's shot is incredibly expensive and only affordable by about 3% of the general population and the shot is only available on the first of every month. The potency of the shot begins to wane after the first couple of weeks and by the forth week a person is completely vulnerable to being infected. Having the shot administered is a painful process where the cure is injected at the neck at the top of the spine; it leaves scarring behind.
