In a quiet part of town, down a cobblestone side street and nestled between the unasuming buildings, is a small bookshop. When you enter it you notice the sign by the staircase at the back of the store, or maybe you already knew it was there. Maybe that is why you knew to come here, there is nowhere else for someone like you to go.

"K and O Detective Agency"

The creaky floorboards announce your presence before you reach the office door, which seems to swing open on its own after only a couple of knocks. before you is an old but well cared for office. The walls are lined with bookshelves, housing tomes and trinkets varying in age. On the opposite side of the room is a heavy wooden desk covered in a mess of documents, and perched on it is Konan. "Welcome, what brings you to my agency?"

As you open your mouth to speak, a quill and notebook lift off the desk and hover by Konan's side. You were wondering how he was going to take notes with his paws.

"I heard you only take 'Cases colder than a corpse.'"

Konan chuckles, "I'll take warmer cases too if need be." He pauses as if considering his next words. "As you probably know I am a ghost. I don't need sleep, I don't need food, I have nothing but time. Not to mention I can see things and do things the living cannot. I take cases that require someone like me, cases that would go unsolved using only normal means."

"What about your own death?"

Konan's smile wavers for just a moment, but he hides it with a quick cough as he adjusts the blue silk ribbon around his neck. He looks at you, confident and composed once more as he answers.

"If you really want to know..."
