In 2018 i was looking at facebook like i always do, and I ran across an ad for a Exotic pet expo in the neighboring town. I yelled to my husband we need to go! We can get a exotic pet! He asked like what?! I was thinking to myself please dont say snake, i looked at the ad and there was a picture of a hedghog! I said Oh we can get a Hedghog!! He said ok! I was kind of in shock, so I thought i better do some homework. A lady who sells them wanted to get a booth at this expo but they were out of slots, she was back and forth on the page saying she had some hedgehogs for sale and she wanted a booth. I private messaged her explaining that i wanted one. She said sorry they were all currently taken. I shrugged it off, I didnt want one that bad! Just a few short days later she messaged me back asking if I wanted a boy she had one available. I said sure! So one thing led to another and I am now a Proud owner of a hedgehog. I did not want to name him Sonic, i KNOW everyone else names there boy hedgehogs sonic lol! When i talked about him i kept saying Hedgie-hog. sooo his name became Hedgie! My husband has his own name for him as well, he calls him Boss Hog from Dukes of Hazard. He loves cat food and worms, he loves to snuggle and be grumpy, he loves to run on his wheel and make a poopy mess! He hates baths, and really doesnt play much, He would just rather be held. below is a pic of my Hedgie-Hog
