Kammi has a minion!

It had all started when Kammi fell into the rift after seeing humans tossing food into it. The field wyllop had assumed that the rift was nothing more than a high-tech trashcan and jumped inside. When Kammi managed to get out of the rift, she discovered that she had undergone a drastic transformation. She scurried back to Ziara and resumed her daily routine of searching for food in the alleys.

Soon the residents of Ziara began reporting strange behavior from their robots and appliances. Even Yun Enterprises and Blackmoon Corporation reported technical issues that seemingly appeared out of nowhere. It turns out that the rift had given Kammi the power of sending out an aura that caused a reaction with the inner wiring of Ziarian tech. This reaction manifested as various malfunctions. At first, Kammi had trouble controlling her powers. This lack of control naturally resulted in chaos in the carefully organized lives of the Ziarans. Eventually Kammi became concerned that people might retaliate against her due to her aura making technology go wild. In fear,the riftborn wyllop fled Atebus in a space vessel heading to Subeta..

After landing on Subeta, Kammi sought a place where little technology was present so no one would learn of her powers. She settled on Riverside, for the free food center offered many scrumptious treats for a wyllop. Kammi spent her days eating scraps behind the free food center, wandering the Nature Walk, and sleeping inside a massive junk pile at the Recycling Center. However, mishaps caused by the riftborn wyllop’s powers would still occasionally occur. Once Kammi’s aura caused some of the Recycling Center’s equipment to malfunction. The poor Recycle Beast was wracking his brain over how the technical issues had occurred for weeks!

Kammi’s life began to improve after she managed to foil some thieves who had attempted to steal from the Donation Corner. The thieves had broken into the building and attempted to use a robot to steal the most expensive items being stored there. However, Kammi discovered what they were up to and used her powers to make the robot malfunction. But Kammi’s powers also managed to make the fire alarms and security system go haywire! The thieves fled due to this unexpected occurrence but were captured a few days later. Word of Kammi’s good deed spread around Riverside.

For the next two years, the various residents of Riverside helped Kammi as she honed her abilities. The riftborn wyllop did quests for Pete, who provided her with both food and money. The money Kammi earned from Pete’s quests was put into training sessions with Jim. These training sessions helped to build Kammi’s confidence and self-discipline.

Kammi also grew fond of rave parties because the music was fun and the atmosphere was so bright and energetic. Kammi would dream at night about performing cool dance moves at the raves she attended. At one rave her powers caused the DJ station to go haywire. The music would change tones and frequencies without warning. Kammi was embarrassed once she realized what had happened. But the two DJs of the rave, a common demi and a blacklight devonti, were impressed by Kammi’s abilities and asked if she could help them make new remixes!

One day the news reported of a strange incident in Ziara: hundreds of rift fairies were running amok, leaving little rifts behind. Scientists began to worry of the possibility of all the rift fairies creating a rift so big that it could destroy sections of the city. They created a machine that might drive away the rift fairies. However, the machine didn’t seem to have much of an effect. As luck would have it, Kammi had managed to work up her courage to return to Ziara for a massive rave party that was going to held in Lower Ziara. After arriving in Ziara, the wyllop heard about the machine and realized that she might be able to help. Kammi found the scientists testing the machine and activated her powers. The machine ended up emitting soundwaves that annoyed the rift fairies and made them flee the area. The scientists used this information to their advantage. Eventually the rift fairies were driven away to the Galaxian Wastes. Kammi not only attended the rave but also had a special ceremony held in her honor by Calvin Blackmoon as thanks for solving the rift fairy infestation. Kammi went back to Riverside after the Rift Fairy incident, but everyone in Ziara knew who to call if the Rift Fairy menace ever returned.

One day, while visiting Darkside, Kammi took a wild joyride on a large drone. Kammi had climbed into the drone to get away from an annoying feli that had been chasing her around. Kammi had attempted to use her powers to make the drone do something to scare the feli away. The drone made a sputtering sound and suddenly took off into the air. The wyllop hung on for dear life as the drone dipped and spun through the Darkside sky. Eventually Kammi and the drone crash-landed into the deep, goopy pits of Blobland. Kammi was completely submerged in the pit and transformed into a blob! This sudden and massive body change threw Kammi for a loop. She now had to learn how to manage her day-to-day life without arms or legs. Kammi eventually discovered, however, that she had retained her ability to make electronics go haywire. The blob then began considering ways to have her powers substitute for physical limbs in order to pick up items.

One day her common demi friend surprised Kammi with a special gift: a vibrant potion! Ingesting the potion caused Kammi to take on a hue as bright as the raves she loved so much. Finally content with her appearance and powers, Kammi continued to brighten up raves for many years.
