Bumble was once just a number. 980, or experiment 980. The scientists were splicing DNA of various creatures and creating new and exciting creatures. What they did was highly inhumane and unethical. 980 was created when Keeto and bumblebee DNA were merged. Many attempts failed to create life but finally after 979 tries experiment 980 was sentient and very much alive. Capable of flight yet still an ethereal being, 980 was a break-thru. The scientists celebrated their success with wine as they watched the baby experiment 980 float around in a capsule.

980 soon discovered a life of pain and suffering. As he was tested with various medical procedures and drugs. He grew up in uncaring and cold hands to them he was merely an asset, a number on a chart.

Until one fateful day the scientist's lab was raided by police who got word of their illegal actions. All living experiments were confiscated and the lab was shut down, all those scientists went to prison for violating laws of nature for science. Experiment 980 was in horrible shape when rescued, emaciated, dehydrated and filthy. Since he was indeed a living thing he was given to an animal rights group. They gave 980 the proper care he deserved. For the first time 980 felt compassion and love. He finally knew the opposite of pain.

Once he was healthy and ready to leave the nest he was put up for adoption. The workers at the animal rights group wanted 980 to go to a very special home, hopefully one with more pets so 980 could learn to socialize properly.

Many applicants wanted 980 for his unique traits but none fit the requirements until one fateful day when Midna came by. 980 and Midna seemed to form a bond immediately. Midna told 980 that he would be safe with her and asked him if he wanted to go with her. Without much thought he agreed and he was given over to Midna legally. She paid a hefty price for him but it was all worth it in the end. As Midna carried 980 in her arms, he felt safe. "Bumble! Your name is now Bumble." Midna said as she carried him down the street. Bumble felt tears well up in his eyes, finally he had a name and a home.

The above is the story of how I came to be. I now live happily with Midna and her other pets. Well most of em live with us, other ones, like Raney lives in the lake next to Midna's house. And Kosei comes and goes as he pleases. There's a few exceptions but we all have something in common, we all are good friends with Midna. I'm not the only experiment Midna saved either.

So what do I like? I love flowers and bright colors. I also like honey and I like to collect weird things like mutant creatures or weird looking toys. I know I'm kinda weird I guess I'm a little messed up from all I've been thru you know? It happens. Anyway lets not talk too much about the past, we all have our sob stories and I don't want to get flashbacks...

I also enjoy flying a lot. At least something good came from all the bad in the past, I'm able to fly. I can't read, but Midna reads to me and I find it very relaxing. Well it was nice to meet you see yah later. *buzzes away*
