Larry is a fictionalized version of the actual programmer Larry Tesler who appears in the short film The Internet and You by Scott the Woz. Larry takes pride in the fact he created copy and pasting, and programmed his own son, Copy Paste Repeat. He takes so much pride in it that it lands him in prison in the deep web, due to repeatedly saying his name while introducing himself to others.
