Geomancy (Greek: "earth divination") is a method of divination that interprets markings on the ground or the patterns formed by tossed handfuls of soil, rocks, or sand. The most prevalent form of divinatory geomancy involves interpreting a series of 16 figures formed by a randomized process that involves recursion followed by analyzing them, often augmented with astrological interpretations.Once practiced by people from all social classes, it was one of the most popular forms of divination throughout Africa and Europe in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Books and treatises on geomancy were published up until the 17th century when most occult traditions fell out of popularity.
Geomancy, Geo for short, spends most of his time in the forest. He values his solitude and peace. Occasionally, someone will find his humble shack and he welcomes them in for a short time. Serving a delicious soup that's 'neverending' from this cauldron on the fire under the hearth where his most valued relics are featured. Gain his trust and he shares his knowledge with you. Offer him a book he hasn't read, and he may invite you to return. However, if he chooses not to be found again, his cabin will not be where you expect it to be, the next time you wonder his forest.

The Earth reveals herself to Geo when she chooses and he heeds her signs. Though he is a loner, and unless you ask, he will not share what he knows.
