"W-Why do you want me?!" The small voice asked.
"You are to fulfill your destiny!" The deeper haunting voice replied.
"No! I don't want to! T-They have been kind to me!" The smaller female voice replied back.
"Yonna, you must do this! I am in control! THIS IS YOUR DESTINY!" The deep voice replied.
The small creature huddled in her corner and started to cry softly. "B-But I-"
"No buts! I COMMAND YOU TO DO IT! They are no friends of yours! You shall never be free until you complete your destiny...." The haunting voice said and went silent.
The voice wouldn't go away. No matter what the small dawn darkonite did it wouldn't go away.
She had once been a happy little thing who had played with her siblings and did her friend's hair. She'd loved pink and dolls.
But one day everything changed. A strange dark cloud had swept across the sky as she'd been walking to the store. It had gotten lower until it had completely swallowed her! She had coughed and gasped for breath but to no avail.
Just when things seemed over for her, something had come out of the cloud and had caused life to fill her again. But with a price.
The creature that had given her life had taken over apart of her mind. She tried to live a normal life but day after day the creature seemed to take more control over her mind.
She would hear the voice talking to her and sometimes she would seem to go into a trance and wake up in the woods or some place far away from where she had been.
Yonna, the small dawn creature, shook her head. "I cannot hurt them....They are my friends." She whispered and rocked back and forth.
"They are no friends of yours..." The voice echoed again.
"Maybe you're right!" She exclaimed and sat up. "M-Maybe they aren't my friends....Maybe I should just fulfill my destiny and finish them off-" She became pale and shook her head. "What am I saying?! I cannot hurt them!" She doubled over and passed out.
A week later three bodies were found mauled to death. The bodies were of Yonna's three best friends. Did she do it? She is still not sure to this day.
What happened to Yonna after that? Some say that the grief consumed her and she had run away. Others claim that she took her own life.
But the truth is......The darkness had consumed her and taken over her body. It had completed her destiny that she would be a heartless killer.
To this day the darkness still controls her body and mind. Though every once in a while part of her still comes through for even a fleeting moment.
