A long, long time ago there was an ancient tribe of Kumos called the Senri. The Senri resided in the northernmost region of the Arctic Frost. For ages, the tribe had been lost, extinct, and nearly forgotten. When the disappearance first occurred, there were many rumors of what could've happened to this tribe, who had been walking the ancient land for centuries. Very few knew what happened to these Kumos, and very few remember the Senri today.

A deep crash sounded overhead. BANG Lana immediately became alert; ears perked, eyes wide. Her heart was racing. She heard a shuffling above her and she held her breath, hoping to remain undiscovered. She was only a pup at the time, and she was the only one of her litter who'd made it. For months her tribe, the Senri, had been attacked by an unknown force. Those who'd seen the force never lived to tell about it. It had left the rest of the tribe in shambles.

It is to be made clear that the Senri was not a weak or careless tribe. Before the attacks began, it was rich and full of culture and magic. There were festivals often, of the Senri, giving thanks to the earth, the frost and the cold. They worshiped the snow and the moon. Each time a festival or ceremony was held, a blizzard occurred, as if the earth and the ancient Kumos were communicating. They had deep ties to the land. Their festivals were known by nearly all of Subeta at that time, for it was when the northern lights shown at their brightest. But times had changed. No longer were festivals held or snow celebrated. The tribe was slowly but surely disappearing.

Lana waited a long time after the sound had died down before she dared emerge from her den. The moonlight shone brightly above and she peeked her nose out of the ground, sniffing cautiously. The thick smell of blood hung in the air. She stuck her entire face out. What her eyes met, she couldn't have been prepared for. The ancient gems of her ancestors had been completely destroyed, fur was everywhere, and her pack was nowhere in sight. Lana let out a distressed whimper as she took in her surroundings, and then she tilted head to the sky and cried to the moon all night long. For days this continued, a lone howl that pierced the silence with pain. There was one who heard her cry.

Lana was now the last Kumos of tribe Senri. She had the bloodline of the alpha, but nobody to rule. Together with Lupus she gathered artifacts from her tribe and tried to regain knowledge and culture that had nearly been wiped out. With the knowledge from her ancestors and the alliance with the powerful Telenine, Lana began to makes plans for her comeback. Not all was lost, as she once believed.
