Story in the Stars:
An astronaut at heart, Deak learned enough about the stars to consider himself an expert on the subject. However, his shy, observing nature always seemed to keep him grounded, and never quite managed to reach out far enough. So he stayed an observer. In the background, studying.
When he was older, Deak took the first trip out to Atebus. He had to see more of space, he just had to. He fell in love with Subeta's moon. Explored it constantly. However, one day, out on one of his explorations, he became lost. Though, Deak will admit that it was sort of inevitable, considering how untamed the planet is. After wandering aimlessly for some time, he came across a set of caves, and settled there for rest and refuge. Upon finding Deak, one of the natives took pity on him and blessed the Kumos, making it possible for Deak to explore his own constellations, even from the comfort and safety of home.
