Baudouin joined up with Algernon after the boy's initial clothing business, Rocketwear Fashions, drifted into obscurity. Rocketwear's mascot, a small rainbow colored drake, attracted Baudouin's attention. They became best friends despite Algernon's capricious and overly flamboyant nature and now serves as his personal guardian. Baudouin balances out the youth's rash decisions and flighty reasoning with an experienced voice and understanding wisdom.
