her mother is actually from/and usually living on a different world. no one knows that. Posey was actually born in the harrows, where her father the vampire lives. Merlin wouldn't allow her to be raised there however so came to an agreement with the father and moved them to another world. The world she was raised in has supernatural people as part of the normal population so she would be able to flourish and explore her own gifts without issues. Merlin was not nurturing towards her kids but tried to provide for them. She became involved with a number of species and even became others herself, always experimenting, always planning..
