Koryu, outwardly, seems like a friendly older brother.
A tad aloof, a tad naÃ¯ve, still fresh from the passage of youth. He always tries to have a smile on his face no matter the situation and laughs off the worries others fret desperately over. Lazy, relaxed, creative, sharpâ€¦ heâ€™s the poster child for every budding artist. Until, of course, one brings up his â€˜sisterâ€™ and the only thing he can call family - Utou.

He loves Utou more than life itself. He loves Utou more than anything this world could offer. He loves her as she loves him â€“ and he plans to keep it this way. Her love is for him alone, his love sworn just to her. Obsessively protective, painfully manipulative, and more than a little insane, it is his sworn duty to protect Utou from the filth and taint that lies around them. Protect her from whatever he deems a threat. Protect her by any means necessary.

If that means stalking her each morning
to ensure she doesnâ€™t wander from the path, then so be it. If that means lying compulsively to keep her fragile mind pure, then thatâ€™s okay.
