Subject BE-01 is a radioactively mutated Nitidus orbis, common name 'Bright Eyes'. Treatment of BE-01 included daily injections of patent Nuclear Matter and timed gaseous exposure to Dark Matter elements. Goal was to successfully integrate Matter into an outside source without source being affected by fatal cell destruction. Experiment was partially successful; BE-01 shows no sign of permanent cellulose damage. Largely, however, BE-01 has fallen far from our goal.
Mental capacity has drastically diminished compared to average Nitidus orbis. Subject is now highly aggressive to deemed threats, be they other animals or inanimate objects. Previous training has been forgotten entirely. Knows no sense of self – partakes in harmful actions without realizing its actions are the cause. Original goal of the experiment was to improve a species genetically similar to Subetan individuals. These improvements – all physical – are greatly undercut by the apparent loss of all reason. My student claims otherwise, stating what he claims to be ‘compassion’ in its actions towards him. More likely it is remnants of primordial social behavior and not consciously controllable actions.
Fault lies with the nature of Nuclear Matter – radioactive side-effects were not factored into the equation. Our next attempt will be direct gene splicing with Dark Matter particles. In the meantime, subject BE-01 shall be kept and monitored for either cognitive improvement or physical decay. BE-01 should be considered a Level Alpha and treated as such. Extreme caution is required even from a distance.
Advantages: Increased strength, increased agility, increased mass, increased metabolism; increased waking hours; possible increase in life expectancy; highly evolved immune system
Disadvantages: Decreased mental capacity; increased aggression; physiological changes unpredictable; poor vision; extreme photosensitivity; poor heat retention; virtually uncontrollable
