"Twas far too strange, and wonderful for sadness;
Sharpening, by degrees, his appetite
To dive into the deepest. Dark, nor light
The region; nor bright, nor sombre wholly,
But mingled up; a gleaming melancholy;
A dusky empire and its diadems;
One faint eternal eventide of gems."

Keats, Endymion, Book II

Keets is a kind-hearted young man who is an old soul in many ways. He loves birds and gryphons of every kind. A few times a week he checks to make sure the bird feeders at the Keep are full and that there is clean water in the bird baths. The squirrels and mice that come out to inquire for seeds in the garden are never disappointed, he always saves a few handfuls for them. (Don't worry, the gryphons are far too well-fed to pose a threat to the little cuties.) A few of the gryph's are pets and sleep in the rookery. He says quills from friends make the best kind. He's given to flights of fancy and words are his best friend. He loves them. The way they twine and join and become beauty in endless dancing fashions. He's seen hard times but that only seems to give his words more passion as if he knows that life is short and one must blur the lines between what might be and what is. He is a poet and is never seen without his homemade quills and scraps of paper tucked into his pockets.

Likes: His family, books, reading, being outdoors, and has a small army of Griffin pets and birds.

After moving to a cottage in the woods in order to get some writing inspiration Keets wandered near the Keep one day and happened to meet the mysterious Violla. He finds her mesmerizing and loves to just be in her presence. Violla found him to be naive and a little young for her. She's a woodland spirit who tends to the seasons and vegetation in the area. However, the more time she spent around him, the more fond of him she became. Begrudgingly, (at first), she fell for his sweet nature and big heart. He adores her more than anything under the sun and when they finally fall in love it's the best thing that's ever happened to either of them.

They live in the woods on the outskirts of a land owned by a magic user named Iridestra. The children aren't allowed near the old castle, called The Keep, but Keets likes to visit with Bespelled. They both enjoy writing and often exchange books with one another. He also tends to the birds that flock to the Keeps beautiful gardens. Violla tends to avoid it when Iridestra is around, the sorceress wasn't thrilled that the the earth spirit wanted to keep her job instead of relocating to another part of the land. But she still comes in and makes sure everything is growing and healthy.

Violla is a vital part of the environment and brings forth the spring and keeps the summer going. In the fall she turns brown and begins to tire and goes to sleep earlier, bringing the sunsets down upon the world a little faster. Winter is a time for hibernation and fun in the snow. With Bespelled's magic she's able to stay awake longer during the long dark winters, and not affect the season. Every night Keets snuggles up to her and is rewarded with a purr from deep within her dreams. His sleeping fox means more than words can say.

They have 3 children. two of them are twins- Mullberry and Maebel, and they also have one toddler named Sweetpeas. Keets is a wonderful father and enjoys coming up with his own stories to tell them. Most of his favorite moments are right before bedtime when the whole family is all cuddled up under the covers nice and warm, with his beautiful lady beside him and his children drowsing off to their dreams as he spins tales of beautiful adventures and lullabyes.
