| Age: Unknown Creator: Dr. Evanstrom (deceased) Program: Assumed to be Search & Destroy (Base Values Unknown) Serial No.: #2235 This machine is yet another one of a series created by Dr. Krystof Evanstrom. A lesser known machine, it was commissioned by a secretive group that was only known to Dr. Evanstrom as "Schism". This one had a much more sinister purpose than the Doctor's previous creations; such as Squik. The doctor was approached by Schism after his short release of his first creations. During the production of the "busy-bee" line, he worked on the side project named Autonomous Intelligence Unit; Autonomous for short. Forced into creating a machine that was against his own beliefs and wants, due to lack of funding and fear for his own life, Dr. Evanstrom completed a fully functioning Autonomous. It can be assumed that this machine was created as a weapon for war. It's name implies that it can function on it's own, can self-repair, and is capable of intelligent thought. It was only two years since ESR (Eco-Smart Robots) began that it's visions for the future came to a halt. The mysterious and untimely death of Dr. Evanstrom brought the company's end and with it all the dreams of bettering life today for tomorrow. Before the building was demolished, a clean-up crew gathered all the equipment and unfinished projects that could be parted out for scraps. The Schism infiltrated the operation and cleverly disguised themselves as part of the crew. Without anyone noticing, they hauled away Autonomous as if recording it as scrap. As they were loading the complex machine onto a storage container, one of the Schism accidentally hit the activation button. Autonomous reared and roared, it's terrifying lion-like design proved to succeed in having an intimidation factor. Suddenly the Schism broke out in all directions, throwing steel bound cables across the creation in an effort to restrain it. Tearing through the cables as if chasing an invisible string, Autonomous ripped the restraints apart with ease. Then the mechanical beast took off. Not one of the Schism tried to go after it. The Autonomous now lives it's own life and has learned about the world in which it was created. Because it can think, and learn, it has built robots of it's own. A wasp-like creation is of it's handy work and has become a companion that can help in finding parts for self-reparations. Being keen on mimicking life around it, Autonomous also built a type of "toy" for it's own amusement. A machine resembling a mouse body and spider legs keeps this lionhearted machine occupied. Also, it carries with it an assortment of parts, both broken and whole, that it uses not only to fix itself, but whatever mechanical object that it runs into. It's not quite clear as to the capabilities of Autonomous, or what is it's true purpose. There is an oddly shaped keyhole on the machine's chest. Possibly with this key, Autonomous's true self could be unlocked and with it the hidden purpose of it's creation. Where might this key be?
