Reading Drive!
School is back in session and the time for books is NOW. After a long wait, Archie has agreed to put on the reading drive once more.
He's running things a bit differently this year, however! Archie claims that he has not held a reading drive in so long due to the overabundance of common books he received last time. As such, this year he's looking to only accept books you cannot restock.
But worry not, dear users, for Alexander is joining in on the drive this year, and is willing to give out points to those who complete his quests!
Archie will open up his shop in one week, so you better earn all the points you can before then!

If it'll only accept one of each individual book, I'm not sure what the harm is in accepting restockable ones, since people won't be able to turn in a flood of the same item. I'm just curious why is all.
ok. what happened to all my points in the reading drive that i did not spend yet?! They are all goner, as well as the prizes, i had not spent mine yet. seriously, i will be mad if they disappear forever.

What's this quest thing? Not the normal "buy thing and turn in" quest, but the "little problem" quest? I bought something at the Clothing Rack, which I assumed is what it was telling up to do, but nothing happened.
Lots of people upset? "OH DON'T WORRY THERE'S A LITTLE QUEST YOU CAN DO TOO BECAUSE IT WAS SUPER POPULAR DURING THE LAST EVENT".

Guess I'll have to just do my quests, and hope I stumble on some non-restockable books. I don't have a ton of non-restockables. Haven't really been around long enough. =/

I don't have enough sP to participate :( I was really looking forward for this event, and now all my dreams are gone.
There are a lot of cheaper non-rsable books, guys! And library quests take care of all the r1-99 ones. Make sure you read Alexander's text on the quest page, too. I think he needs your help with something. ;)

So basically, we'll either get a new shop with cheaper prizes like the Masquerade and EPICon prize shop, or work our butts off hoping to get a few prizes, if that, from the old shop? What are you going to do to Morostide, charge us for our pumpkins?
This seems pretty unfair and not too popular of an idea. Oh well, my first reading drive and I won't be participating. :/

Well I had two books in my vault that weren't restockable. Guess I'll have to try quests for my points then :P
Really surprised that this is using non-restockable books only... because those aren't really the ones that are horribly deflated. Oh, well. I'll contribute to the extent I feel like it and not worry about it from there.
What happens to the points we had left over from previous years? And the books turned in they represent?
Will Alexander be giving out a fixed amount of points per quest, or are the point amounts random?

Not only that you can turn in The Slots, books given out by Alexander the special rewards ones, holiday books, ect.

Yeah this is an event I think I will pass on. No way am I "wasting" these rare books on this. I'd rather read them to my pet or sell them for the millions they will be worth.

I noticed that when I went to do a library quest there was a link on the text, with Alexander asking for help, maybe that's what helps us get the points instead of the quests?
